Now renamed Palmerstown House this is a grade A golf course set in beautiful surroundings. From the minute you dirve up the driveway you know you are in for a treat. Great fairways And Greens and top class conditions. Make sure you take a golf buggy as it is a bit of a walk form some greens to tees and... More

Attended a family christening lunch on Sat 12th July; grounds fabulous, staff friendly but struggled to adequately serve a small pre-booked party of 30 people; very young staff who tried their best but seemed inexpierienced with no managerial leadership on sight - starters, bread rationed and varying sizes when the same ordered - water jugs very very slow to be... we played at palmerstown golf course 12 months ago when the complex was in the process of being taken over. the course looked neglected and was very wet. 12 months down the line and the transformation is amazing. the course is manicured to perfection and looked fantastic. I was taking part in a huge golf tournament and this course was... More

The golf course is maintained in perfect shape by the green keepers. It is really an excellent course to play on.

PGA would not have got a second glance from me until a friend informed me that it was under new ownership. I decided to venture this week and was pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious and served promptly. Would highly recommend the golfers sandwich and the soup is to die for. Only downside is that's its expensive, very expensive.

Reopened for membership as Palmerstown Stud, the new owners are investing to bring this course back to where it should be. Well worth joining or just a round of golf, you will be surprised how good the course is.

Went here after a round of golf, was okay but nothing spectacular. Nice pub grub food & good value, service was kind & attentive, wouldn't hesitate to go in if I was to play the course again.

Morellos Restaurant at the PGA Golf Course was like taking a journey back in time to yesteryear. Unfortunately the place went into liquidation which is a crying shame. Service was superb, surroundings olde worlde, sumptuous and provided the ultimate in refined dining. It has to make a comeback.

I went here for an occasion and it was a really nice place. The restaurant was really busy. At the end of the night they let us downstairs to the piano bar and let our party use the piano to play into the early hours! I would recommend to go to this place but I actually think it might have... More
