We felt scammed into paying too much to see too little. Beware: Do not go to this "museum" you are better off spending your money on a pint of beer! Once the owner get your money he runs and hides. It cost us 13 euros to visit a tiny 3 room musuem. More

The disappointing thing about this museum is that most of the stuff is not Irish in origin. Despite this the collection is strangely interesting. The bear with the cigar made me wonder who was fooling who and whether this could be called a museum or just some persons hobby. Visit if you fancy a break. More

While I was a little weirded out that this was in someone's house, it was still a fun place to visit. They have some very interesting pieces, and the gift shop is also amusing. It is not a long stop, but it's a good place to stretch your legs and use the bathroom and soak up some history. The owner/operator... More

We stumbled across this museum. Very impressive collection however appeared to be situated in someones house and there was no-one around when we first got there. we were the only visitors and found it a bit uneasy. Worth visiting but probably would have been a bit disapointed if i had read the reviews first. More

We stopped by this eclectic little museum on the advice of some friends who had visited previously. We were greeted by the friendly and informative curator, Harris Moore, who gave us a private tour and even let our kids handle some stone age tools! The mammoth and cave bear skeletons were impressive, and even the gift shop was full of... More

A cool little museum run by a very nice man. Bear and mammoth skeletons, prehistoric artifacts, handmade goods and much more. Very inexpensive- a few euros! More

As we were driving along the main thoroughfare on the Dingle Peninsula we happened upon this museum on the roadside. The collection of artifacts were eye popping and diverse. The house and owner of the collection were most warm and welcoming. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. We loved the various rooms that housed... More

We just happened to stumble upon this museum while meandering round the ancient sites on the Dingle peninsula. This private collection is truly amazing & a credit to Harris Moore. I thought this beautiful collection of ancient tools and artifacts was mind blowing.. Harris kindly opened his house to us and played a few delightful tunes on the Hammer dulcimer... More

The museum is on the beautiful Dingle Peninsula, en route to the stunning Slea Head heritage sites and scenery. The museum has a small but lovely collection of prehistoric, neolithic, Bronze Age and Celtic items; however the huge woolly mammoth head was the item that most affected me. Not to mention the terrifying complete skeleton of a giant cave bear.... More
