You haven't really lived until you stay on this lovely campsite on this beautiful beach (the campsite has it's own part of the beach). The campsite itself was just wonderful, very well run and perfect to de-stress. We brought our caravan for a six night stay and ended up staying for over two weeks - many tears were shed when... Travelling south on the N59 from Kylemore towards Clifden, the turning for Renvyle Beach is poorly signposted on your right about two kilometres from Kylemore. Then you have 9 km of narrow roads to the beach - look for a narrow road on your right leading to a small car park. We had a bracing walk along the white beach... More

Great part of Connemara, awesome scenery....nearby village of Tullycross has cute thatched rental cottages and pubs to visit.

The beaches near Renvyle we unspoilt with fine sand. We could walk for a long way each time and the stones often had quartz in them so they glistened too.

It's a small beach in the middle of nowhere - making it oh-so-quite and clean. It's gorgeous! The sand is white, the rocks are gold (no really, the rocks are all bronze and gold and yellow, never seen anything like it) and there's a million little rock pools with little crabs living in them. It's a gorgeous place to go... More

Lovely beach with soft white sand, great views of Mayo and Galway's Mountains and Islands. Not far from Tully village, Renvyle Hotel, Oceans Alive, Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey.

All the beaches along this coastline facing north are clean golden sand. Renvyle beach has a small car park ten cars and its full. Lettergesh beach further east or Glassillaun beaches have more parking and are every bit as beautiful. Renvyle beach is shallow safe for swimming lots of pretty rock pools. perfect but no more perfect than the rest.

White sand, empty, we were the only people there - wonderful to be the first person on to a pristine beach....mind you it was a Tuesday in October!

We stopped here as we started our tour around the peninsula. We weren't camping so we didn't have the issues that some of the other reviewers had. We just loved the view as we were coming through the area and turned down the road to the beach area. It was great! I'll post some pictures. If you're in this area,... More

This beach was beautiful and very peaceful. We were just going to stop by for a quick photo and ended up staying over an hour walking up the shoreline. It was a very serene place to visit.
