Lovely beach with soft white sand, great views of Mayo and Galway's Mountains and Islands. Not far from Tully village, Renvyle Hotel, Oceans Alive, Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey.

All the beaches along this coastline facing north are clean golden sand. Renvyle beach has a small car park ten cars and its full. Lettergesh beach further east or Glassillaun beaches have more parking and are every bit as beautiful. Renvyle beach is shallow safe for swimming lots of pretty rock pools. perfect but no more perfect than the rest.

White sand, empty, we were the only people there - wonderful to be the first person on to a pristine beach....mind you it was a Tuesday in October!

We stopped here as we started our tour around the peninsula. We weren't camping so we didn't have the issues that some of the other reviewers had. We just loved the view as we were coming through the area and turned down the road to the beach area. It was great! I'll post some pictures. If you're in this area,... More

Great location but sadly the local campsite is unfriendly! We spent a weekend in Connermara, after a very successful time at the Great Fjord Swim at Killary Harbour, a very well run event where we stayed locally at the very friendly if basic Connemara Hostel opposite the Killary Adventure Centre, both with very friendly staff, and onto Clifden to stay... This beach was beautiful and very peaceful. We were just going to stop by for a quick photo and ended up staying over an hour walking up the shoreline. It was a very serene place to visit.

This is in the perfect setting, as all other reviewers agree on. Stunning scenery at all angles! However the campsite itself is nothing special. The girl on reception was unfriendly and unwelcoming, doesn't give you a good feeling about the place to start with. Facilities are adequate - you have to pay extra for a very short, time-limited shower. Although... More

Renvyle Beach Caravan & Camping Park is an absolute must for any family looking for a beach breakaway. This truly is camping on the beach. Perfectly safe for all of us overprotective parents to let the kids run wild & free on the beach while us parents can kick back & enjoy a glass of wine. The facilities are spotless.... More
