This isn't the best beach for swimming as there were lots of jelly fish when we went but there are good beaches near by like "Dog's Bay".

Being avid campers for over 10 years we have visited and enjoyed a lot of campsites Countrywide and enjoyed each and every one so when we chose this campsite I expected nothing less.....wrong. When we arrived (my husband, our 3 girls and my mum) my husband and I went into the office we said we would like to book for... More

Extremely clean beach, really quiet and with outstanding natural beauty. As a bonus a proper car park and entrance way is being built. Sand is mainly fine.

Lovely beach, with great views. The campsite left lots to be desired, but I'll hold off on that until it has its own separate TripAdvisor page.

Beautiful campsite in stunning location which we have stayed in before. It is in the middle of the wilds of Connemara yet close to major visitor attractions. The last time we stayed the regime was much more relaxed but this time we faced an interrogation before we booked in and then we paid an extra five euro deposit for no... More

We went to Renvyle camp and caravan park today and paid for 2 nights. We asked if we could have electric in our trailer tent and we're told no problem if we got the lead.Upon setting up our tent(with 4 daughters in tow),a middle aged woman, who I can only presume is the owner came upon us with a very aggressive manner... Very relaxing a home from home, It is possible to swim, enjoy superb food which is local especially the fish dishes. We had drives through dramatic landscapes. We just stayed 2 days could have stayed a week.

Travelling south on the N59 from Kylemore towards Clifden, the turning for Renvyle Beach is poorly signposted on your right about two kilometres from Kylemore. Then you have 9 km of narrow roads to the beach - look for a narrow road on your right leading to a small car park. We had a bracing walk along the white beach... More
