The cultural atmosphere and veiws, smells of the turfs burning and bleating of sheep, clear waters, fresh air and nice people.driving is a pleasure, pace af life slow, friendly historical rural beauty

We enjoyed several spots along the coastline, but nothing took our breath away as sitting for hours on a rock, gazing out in all directions at the beauty of western Ireland.

You find yourself unbelievably close to the water. Gorgeous views and lovely walks. Bad weather just makes for a good excuse to get cold then warm up by the turf fires!

I can only really support the comments of other reviewers regarding the beach it is lovely. You can catch a view of the dolphins coming into the bay to chase the mackerel when the tide is in favour. About 200 yards Northwest from the entrance to Renvyle House Hotel there is a sign down to this lovely little beach with beautiful views
