Larger than expected inside(2 story). My favorite area is the retro candy and toy area. Plenty of other retro shopping areas as well as contemporary shopping.

It's like stepping back in time. The candy in this store are the ones you grew up as a kid and is no longer available at the other stores. Great store, has camping and clothing in the lower level

We got a kick out of this place! They have such a unique and fun variety of things that I don't know where to start! They are pet friendly, as we brought in my Dad's girlfriend's King Charles Cavalier. They even have doggie bowls at the front filled with water. There are comfortable rocking chairs for adults and kids to... More

This is a great place to get clothing. The prices are excellent. The shoes are marked down and they have such good prices. You can also get things for your pet, toys, dog bowls, treats. The kids will love all of the candy bins. They also have some toys, kitchen supplies, books, cookware, dinnerware, glasses, and much more. You can... More

The Mast General Store in Knoxville is a true classic where you can find novelty items which you are not likely to find elsewhere.

I was glad that Knoxville had a Mass General Store open on Gay Street. I loved to stop at the one in North Carolina when we had time as we passed through. My favorite part of the store is the candy barrels...a throwback to old time general store candies. Downstairs has a good assortment of outdoor gear, apparel, and shoes.... More

We went in just to look around. I have never seen more candy selection as they have. Got a lot of neat knick nacks as my mama's would say!

This one it located downtown on Gay street. There are several locations located throughout the south. I can say I do not remember them from when I was a child living in Knoxville. They have candy, cooking stuff, outdoors stuff, and other souvenirs. They have a clothes selection similar to R.E.I., Bass Pro Shop, or Cabela's. The prices are similar... More

My husbans I saw the store and went in just out of curiosity and ended up spending about 2 hours looking around. Found all sorts of stuff for momentos. Tons of different kinds of jelly in every flavor you can imagine. All kinds of neat shirts for little people and big people too. Hope you enjoy it as much as... More

From the first time we visited the original Mast General Store in Boone, NC, we were stoked to get one here in Knoxville, and they really delivered! From the high quality clothing to the great outdoor gear downstairs, you MUST come see everything! The nostalgic area with the candy and "old" toys and games is amazing and I am certain... More
