Nice venue, needs parking

This is a state of the art venue. I have attended a number of events here. Fund raising dinners, awards banquets, business meetings and my grandson's Gymnastics meets. The only... read more

Excellent facility near downtown, easily transformed for whatever event that is hosting here. It is large enough that it never feels too crowded. Parking is nearby, sometimes a little bit of a walk. On one side, the traffic can get quite busy. We've attended home improvement shows and found it easy in, easy out. Entrance fee will depend on the... More

Went to the "Car Show" here and the only thing worse than the Convention Center was the worthless event they call a "Car Show". This is not the actual Car show that tours the country but a pathetic sales event put on by a small handful of Knoxville car dealers. Don't bother wasting your time at this non event. As... More

This is a state of the art venue. I have attended a number of events here. Fund raising dinners, awards banquets, business meetings and my grandson's Gymnastics meets. The only negative in my book is the lack of parking. You can park nearby at the hotel next door or any of the numerous other paid lots which are within walking... More

The Knoxville Convention Center hosts the Fantasy of Trees which is a fund raiser for Children's Hospital. It is absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend anyone attending this event. They have fun activities for kids & the beauty of the trees is a sight to behold!

This is a very large area. Next to the Sunsphere. Many local and national events are held here. Sundays there is church service if you'd like to partake. There is a pedestrian bridge that connects the convention center to McClung and other streets. So safe to walk to downtown where all the shops and restaurants are located on Gay Street.

I recently attended the FanBoy Expo held at the Knoxville Convention Center. I had been to the same event held there last year also. The Knoxville Convention Center is a very nice place to have a convention or large meeting. It is well laid out and in great condition. All the convention center employees were also very helpful especially the... More

Needs a more defined sign as we found it by accident even when the nav system said we are their! Lots of room, clean, clean bathrooms and a great location with free parking!

This convention center is unlike most in that it has a beautiful permenant art collection valued at over one million dollars. There is also artwork on loan from the Knoxville Museum of Art which is conveniently located one block from the center and is also free to attendees. It is awesome to see a city support the arts and expose... More
