I good place to take in the theater.

I have been here a few times to see plays and musicals and they put on excellent productions. I had a great time watching the actors on stage and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I went to see the play, Helen Keller. The theater is roomy, there is a concession stand but no drinks are allowed in the theater except for bottled water cause it has a lid on it. Any set is perfect for viewing. Need to bring a camera.. The seats after awhile hurt your behind. This is a short visit and... More

We love going to this theatre. The shows are always wonderful and the theatre is just the right size. We have never been disappointed with the talented actors or actresses that produce these shows.

Right on the UT campus. Great variety of performances. Not a bad seat in the house. Have gotten the season pass which is a great deal.

Attended closing performance of THREE PENNY OPERA last Sunday and if it hadn't been closing my husband and I would have gone to see it again!! Just another in a long list of brilliant productions, drama, musical and comedy that this company has brilliantly produced. When we are in residence in the area, we make reservations, for whatever play it... More

Yesterday I watched "Three Penny Opera". I have watched several other musical productions at this theater, and this was just as excellent. The programs have background information, which, for me, is a must-read. Seating is excellent; parking isn't, so review it before attending. Many of the same professional actors appear in each production, teaching the theater majors how it's done.... More

We saw Shakespeare's "A Midsummer's Night Dream" performance Friday night and it was incredible. The set design was innovative and breathtakingly beautiful. Another stellar performance at this theatre!

We saw "A Midsummer's Night Dream" yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was not what I expected but it was well worth the money. I grew up in the Knoxville area and was lucky enough to see many plays at the Clarence Brown Theater as a child. I have fond memories of 1776, Fiddler on the Roof, and Don Quixote.... More

Clarence Brown always puts on a good show. The venue is easy to find on the UT campus, and parking is free in the G2 garage. The seating is good and there are really no bad seats in the house. The first few rows are flat and might be too close to see the action across the entire stage (I... More
