My wife rented the Speak Easy (2nd Floor) on a Friday night for my 40th birthday and it was a great venue. The food was fresh and tasted great. A shout out the staff for making sure our guests always had full drinks. There is a fine selection of beers on tap and they have a large selection of high... More

We were in Knoxville on a Friday and didn't venture out for dinner until quite late. The Market Square was really busy and none of the restaurants had an outdoor table for us. We spotted the Preservation Pub's roof top terrace and opted for bar snacks instead of dinner. It was a cool, happening place - the Moonshine Bar. We... More

I love Market Square in downtown Knoxville. We went to the Preservation Pub on a Friday night, the doorman told us it was Blues so we paid our $5 and entered, only to hear music so loud you couldn't talk that sounded heavy metal to me. But on the bright side they have 2 more floors. We sat on the... More

We were in town on St. Patrick's Day and stumbled into Preservation Pub because all the eateries in Market Square had hour-long waits for dinner (why?!). They had great bar food and excellent beer. After the Knoxville Ice Bears hockey game, we wandered back to the Pub for the Talking Heads tribute band and Highland Blessed beer all night long.... More

It's like 3 bars in one, with good prices and great entertainment. The roof is one of the most trendy places in Knoxville and has an awesome view overlooking Market Square. Pres Pub is a must for anybody looking to have a good time downtown!

For people who like to enjoy a wide selection of beers and not have to deal with a rowdy atmosphere, this is a very nice place. Very laid back, the live music can get a bit too loud at times, but other than, this place is pretty nice.

Went there a few times during a recent stay and they have a decent variety of beer at a great price and the service was great. A few floors so if you didn't like the atmosphere of one you could move. The top floor was closed because it was too cold but looks like it would have been nice. I... More

If you're a craft beer lover, this is the place for you in downtown. There are 3 floors of space. The downstairs is low lighting with a stage towards the back for musical acts. Probably 15 or so beers on tap and many more in bottles. The second floor has a similar setup and then finally the best floor is... More

We were there on July 4th. We were probably the oldest people in there by 30 years (a conservative estimate) but no matter. We had the veggie pizza on the second floor, excellent, then retired to watch the fireworks and have some beers with the 20 something's on the 3rd floor. Overall, lots of fun, and even bought a "Keep... More

Relaxing atmosphere, friendly barkeep, wide variety of beers... just the kind of place we were looking for after dropping off luggage at the hotel!
