This is a fabulous greenway that generally follows Third Creek through the heart of the city. It has long natural stretches, but also takes you past a great Mexican restaurant with dog-friendly patio, a great playground, public restroom building, the river and UT campus.

A nice biking, walking trail that is not as crowded as others. Stay out of the creeks, there are signs all over that it is contaminated. It does go through some sketchy areas and even though I feel safe I would not recommend women traveling through alone as there have been some recent issues.

This trail connects Tyson Park to U.T. Agg. Center and can go all the way to Calhoun's on the river. The park is very nice in the summer.

You can feel like you are far from civilization in the green space between to major roads. Always see people, often a train, often herons and occasionally a wild turkey.

Shady (as in bad) place to visit. Make sure you carry a gun or pepper spray while on the trail. Or better yet don't even go.

We run this greenway every weekend. It is a perfect 4 mile up and back loop or an easy 2 mile straight. You can stretch it out further and do the 6-10 mile which includes along the river. I wish it has more trails vs just pavement but I feel safe and LOVE the SHADE it provides. Always a few... More

It's an okay little paved trail. it is shady so nice when it is really hot. The creek is nasty but they are working on that. If you are looking for a place to walk or run in the area it is okay, much better in the area.

Run here if you want to avoid the TN heat. The Greenway has ample shade and a nice pathway. Easy to access off of the TN River. Scenic to some degree.

The Greenway is a well maintained path for walking, running or bike riding. There are quite a few places where you can enter the Greenway and the path is diverse. The UT Gardens are a great place for a picnic lunch as is Tyson Park.

This is a great trail for biking, walking or jogging. It is well-kept up, marked well, and seemingly safe. There are plenty of signs, and crossings are nice.
