We run this greenway every weekend. It is a perfect 4 mile up and back loop or an easy 2 mile straight. You can stretch it out further and do the 6-10 mile which includes along the river. I wish it has more trails vs just pavement but I feel safe and LOVE the SHADE it provides. Always a few... More

It's an okay little paved trail. it is shady so nice when it is really hot. The creek is nasty but they are working on that. If you are looking for a place to walk or run in the area it is okay, much better in the area.

Run here if you want to avoid the TN heat. The Greenway has ample shade and a nice pathway. Easy to access off of the TN River. Scenic to some degree.

The Greenway is a well maintained path for walking, running or bike riding. There are quite a few places where you can enter the Greenway and the path is diverse. The UT Gardens are a great place for a picnic lunch as is Tyson Park.

This is a great trail for biking, walking or jogging. It is well-kept up, marked well, and seemingly safe. There are plenty of signs, and crossings are nice.

This is where I go to run in Knoxville starting at the Earthfare PL. Good bathrooms and food in EF - safe parking - then go a couple of miles in woods - away from cars! - to Tyson Park where their is water and bathrooms. Can go on all the way to Knoxville and Volunteer landing which is also... More

This is a great trail for biking or running! We loved it! It was a great find for a couple of runners in their first trip to the city!

This is the best and longest bike trail in Knoxville and it is one of the best I have ever been on. Go all the way past Iams to the Forks in the River Industrial Park.

The Third Creek Greenway is one of my favorite sections of the Knoxville Greenway. My favorite route is to park in Earth Fare's parking lot, travel down through Tyson Park (great place to stop and take a playground break- if kids are in tow), during the spring/summer a ride alongside the UTK trial gardens is nice (turn right once you... This greenway is very safe and clean. I've never had a bad experience on it. I have even biked to work before on it.
