Since 2010, Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tours has been spooking customers...

Since 2010, Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tours has been spooking customers during investigation-based ghost tours. Excursions are personally led by owner J. Adam Smith, who has been featured as an expert on Paranormal Paparazzi and has investigated paranormal activity for over a decade, taking tour-goers on educational, researched journeys to local haunts on public or private tours that, depending on the tour, traverse graveyards, Gay Street Bridge, and an old Confederate jail. Participants may reach out and connect with the spirits who committed a three-way homicide or the ghosts of hanged men at the actual locations of paranormal activity. Tours take guests on investigations with trained paranormal professionals to locations known for their traumatic histories. Participants are given professional tools to help encourage team building exercises and measure paranormal activity.

My wife and I will always go on a ghost tour if the city we visit has one. I find that some of the best historians are the ones giving the tour and it's always a good time. The one in Knoxville is no exception. The gentleman we had as a tour guide was named Jay and he not only... More

My family and I participated in this ghost tour, which is also as ghost hunt! We were given various ghost hunting tools and a quick ghost hunting class! It was so much fun. We learned lots of history about Knoxville. Lots of fun!

This tour had a lot of great historical information. The tools used for ghost hunting were fun, but not sure how effective they were. If you're into local history and are looking for something fun to do, I would say definitely check it out.

This is just not a ghost tour but a ghost hunt. The research of the stories are awesome. You become a investigator and handle the equipment that is given to you. The guides are respectful to the group and to the spirits that are searched for. Its an experience that you should have just once. All in all we had... More

Jay and Bob, did it up right. Experience, information, personality and positivist. Started in Market Square. Then off to explain/demo and hand out equipment (yup, the same stuff seen used on those ghost hunting shows). At each of the places we walked to, Jay provided a bit of history of the location which helped bring Knoxville alive for me (as... More

This tour was different than any other ghost tour because you actually use equipment to find the spirits. We heard a lot of history of Knoxville and tried to find something at three different locations. Wear comfy shoes!

Best activity in the area. Very knowledgeable tour guides and I even got to use real equipment like on TV. I learned how to use a k2 meter and it was fun. Would love to go back.

My wife can not enough of Ghost Hunting shows and I was looking for information on the spooky side of Knoxville. We both walked away with even more than our original hopes. I was impressed with the knowledge of the tour guides and we both saw things that we could not explain. Awesome time.

My friend and I recently took a trip to Knoxville, TN and loved the people, the restaurants, the history etc but the highlight of our visit was hands down the Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tour lead by J Adam Smith and his assistant Seth. They were both super friendly, informative and professional. They are the real thing and made the tour... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tour! Our investigator really kept us engaged. I admit, I was skeptical at first, but after the tour I was convinced that there are things out there you simply cannot explain. The tour was convenient to the bars and restaurants downtown, so afterwards my group and I grabbed a few drinks and talked about... More
