We took the Saturday afternoon food tour. The website says the tour starts at 2:30, but we received a phone call about 3 hours before the tour saying the tour would not begin until 3:30 pm. Fortunately, we did not have other plans and could change our time. The first stop at the tour is the visitor center, where we... More

Hi There, Well, that’s what I might call a “hit and run” through K-town. I would like to take the time to address some of these items. First – the itinerary for the tour you signed up for was listed on our website before you bought your tickets, so I am unsure why you were surprised at which establishments we... More

My husband and I spent our afternoon with Paula on the food tour. The tour was so much fun! We discovered the Bistro at the Bijou as well as Dazzo's pizzaria. Thank you to Heather at the Bistro and Adam at Dazzo's for your hospitality and input on the menus!! These hidden gems were just down the street from the... More

I am going to give you an honest review you will truly find helpful. If you ignore my review considering it the outlier you will regret it if you pay $40+ for this tour. I am unsure what tour the other reviewers were on but this "food tour" was by far the low point of our first Knoxville experience as... More

What a pleasant surprise this was! We were a bunch of friends looking to do something different on a Saturday afternoon, preplanned of course. Fun, relaxing, and different. It's a different tour all the time. Our six culinary stops in 'Old City' Knoxville, were the Visitor Center, The Crowne Plaza Hotel, The Melting Pot, Blue Slip Winery, Armada and Aisle... More

My sister and I went on this tour last Sunday. We were not sure what to expect but thought it would be something different to do. it got off to a slow start but soon we were moving from place to place and enjoying ourselves. The tour guide was knowledgeable and gave us a great deal of history of the... More

When my wife and I signed up for this food tour, admittedly, we expected to visit 4-5 local restaurants, having a variety of delicious edibles from each. Instead, we were subjected to only one real restaurant, 2 chips and dip places, a store dedicated to high-end olive oils, and an gelato shop. We took the downtown tour as were we... More

Hi David, So sorry the tour was not what you expected. We have very detailed descriptions of each tour on our website, and as stated in the FAQ, this is meant to be a fun afternoon of tasting, sampling, and exploring at restaurants and specialty shops, not full meals at only restaurants. So glad you liked Shonos and Coolato -... More
