Recently enjoyed the dinner cruise as part of restaurant week. The food was nice as always. The artichoke dip was very good. Atmosphere is lovely, the cruise is quite relaxing and the service is always very friendly. We will be back again.

My wife and I treated ourselves to a Christmas cruise aboard the Volunteer Princess in downtown Knoxville. The crew was outstanding, the ship was enclosed and cozy. The lighting was perfect, and the music was very romantic. We cruised south on the Tennessee River for about 1 hour and then turned around. The Christmas lights were mesmerizing. One couple on... If you get a Groupon, the dinner cruise is half off ($51.75 for 2, normal charge is $91.90 for 2). But you have additional charges on the cruise = $8.50 in taxes, Drinks & Appitizers are an additional charge and Tips are an additional charge. It was a very pleasant trip. The workers answered all of my questions. The ship was Clean and the food was delicious. My only problem was the windows because we couldn't see out. I thought the value was excellent.

I am a local sound engineer for local bands. One of the bands that I work with was recently booked to play a private party on The Princess by a local business. Mr. LeMasurier was unnecessarily rude not only to myself but the band and even the band members wives. Not only once, but on at least 4 separate occasions... More

We boarded the Volunteer Princess for a rehearsal dinner. The staff was very accommodating from the start of booking and throughout our communication. The food was delicious especially the cheesecake. The potato bar added a nice touch and allowed for mingling before dinner. I would highly recommend the Volunteer Princess for any occasion based on our experience. We would love... More

We bought this to take my 81 yr old mother visiting the area on a scenic trip where she didnt have to walk much. The ship is beautiful but the entrance to it is a little shaky....difficult for elderly or handicapped to get aboard. We were seated on the top floor and we were impressed that you had a lot... More

Our group really enjoyed the upstairs dining room with bar and outside area as we were able to conduct a private meeting with fantastic views along the Tennessee River. Cruise departs from the Volunteer Pier near Ruth Chris Steakhouse. The boat travels downriver passing many beautiful mansions along the riverfront. The upstairs bar offered a number of interesting mixed drinks.... More

My wife and I went with a group of 30 to tour the river and enjoy long-standing friendships. We were on the upper level and had a spectacular, air-conditioned view of Knoxville seldom seen by locals. The entrees were not huge, but the preparation and flair of the food made it just exactly the amount we needed. The bar had... More

The Volunteer Princess is a professionally run lunch/dinner cruise yacht. The boat is beautiful and well appointed and the food is both well done and well served. They have a full-service bar with either walk-up or table service. We've done several pleasure cruises like this and what really sets the Volunteer Princess apart is their focus on keeping the number... More
