I lived in Knoxville for 9 months. The park is cute. But you have to be lucky to be there on a day that the water is on, because, without it, it is nothing special. There is place to run/walk, picnic, parties, concerts and marriages.. The Sunsphere is free to visit, but the hours are weird. I would love to... More

A must see if you are in the area . We are here for a convention but this place is Beautiful I wish I had my kids here. The splash pad isn't crowded and looks cool

Downtown Knoxville has a lot to offer in that there are several places to eat, various attractions such as parks, music venues, shops, the water front, TN University, theaters, Market Square, etc. For a small older town it can be a fun place to hang out almost any day of the week.

A very nice park and very attractive. Would have loved to take a walk around and check it out closer, but parking facilities were not good at all and we could not get a park close enough.

Using the day well after our vehicle broke down, we went downtown to see this site. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanness of the place and pavilion plus the Sun-sphere. We found a close parking spot right away but on those unlucky days the nearby parking garage might be a better bet. We meandered through the park-like setting and... More

This is one of those places that if you have time should be visited. Not far from Market Square and not far from the University of Tennessee. They have done up the place really nice with walks and water fountains. Its one of those places to take photos, take photos of families and weddings. It is worth the stop.

Nice view from the World's Fair "globe" structure, with some informaitonal panels inside. Free admission. Walkway over to downtown. Close to UT campus. Lovely park and fountains.
