Experience taste, sounds, sales, and sights. This revived section has a great nightlife with trend and vintage environment easily walked from each nook and crannie.

Late-night dancing, a brunch specialty spot with a pig mascot, cereal bar (one bowl or unending bowls), bubble tea, cigar shop, excellent dining choices, regular food truck spots, coffee houses, boutique shops, hot dog specialty place with dozens and dozens of beers, and more new stuff joining all the time. The Old City is vibrant any time of the day.

Twenty years ago I would bring the family down to the Old City in Knoxville and did not have to worry much. We loved going to the Spaghetti Warehouse on Sunday afternoons and stroll thru a few antique shops. Today, we only visit the Crown and Goose in the afternoon or early evening for safety reasons. Would love to see... More

There are still some shop fronts to be filled but overall the Old City has a lot to offer. The quality and the diversity of the eateries is really good. If you are not familiar with area, the parking can be confusing, Not very well marked.

I only went a few times - it is out of the way and not an easy drive if you have had anything to drink. It is not designated driver friendly. It is also in a bad part of town. I was not impressed

We enjoyed a picture perfect blue sky warm sunny stroll around Old City on a Saturday in November. The place had a bohemian look and feel to it. Much to our surprise and delight the owner/founder, Matthew Cummings, of The Pretentious Beer Glass Company welcomed us in to watch and photograph a team of two craftsmen working at the kiln.

A lot of fun in Old Town at night....food, drinks, and creative atmosphere. So much to see and do strolling about, in and out of a variety of shops and club-type establishmenrd...lots of enjoyable music. Something for everyone. Wheelchair accessible everywhere.

The old city has come a long way. Plenty of restaurants and bars, if you are in town visiting, great place for night life
