We loved it! We went to the top and got some great views. It was our first time to Knoxville, and this was the first thing that we did. After the observation deck, we went to the restaurant and my wife and I had a cocktail and the kids had ice cream. It was a great way to start our long... More

It's one of the most iconic structures in Knoxville, so if you're visiting or you live here it's definitely a "must see". You can see almost all of Knoxville and being on site of the World's Fair Park, the history here is pretty spectacular too. If you have time, check out Icon Lounge while here for a swanky meal and... Pleasantly surprised to find this attraction free! We rode the elevator up to the viewing platform (enclosed) and enjoyed learning the history of the city and the views with directions and information. Windows were very dirty, which made the overall views a bit muddled. Still a neat visit!

This give you a great view of the city and University. It's definitely in need of repairs as it seems run down. Some of the information plaques are broken. The Windows could use a cleaning. It's free so worth a visit if in the area.

The tower is free and on a clear or even cloudy day you can see many local sites from the 360 view. The tower is a relic of the World's Fair and a fun local symbol. Take an afternoon and go here after visiting the Knoxville Museum of Art, also free.

Nice place to take someone from out of town to get a good view of the city. Not much else there to see other than Worlds Fair Park.

Was in Knoxville and based on reviews we had to visit the sphere. The park it self was under construction or renovations so nothing spectacular there. But the sphere was cool and being able to take an elevator to the top was way better then walking lol. Elevator didn't feel safe got us to the top. I wouldn't plan a... More

The tower is rather unique. It needs a little maintenance when you get to lvl 4, but the views are really really amazing for a free venue. There are public restrooms nearby, and everyone that was there with us seemed to enjoy the view. The photos are a bit dated and washed out. But everything else was nice. Felt a... More

I'm glad they allow you to go to the observation deck. I was so excited since I'd visited the World's Fair as a small child. The Sunsphere is still beautiful on the outside, but it felt a bit untended on the observation deck. A few of the informational plaques were empty & several were faded. Other than to satisfy curiosity... More
