Beautiful park with splash pad. Great free entertainment for the kids. Also great sidewalks for strolls . Nice backgrounds for pictures. It's very beautiful cool little chocolate place within walking distance.

I went up the somewhat scary elevator which seemed it may have been serviced last in 1982 lol. Getting to the observation tower was neat with all the history pictures and videos of the fair time.

It was good to see entire Knoxville and surrounding mountains from this tower, even though windows were tinted and dirty. Information were is the entrance to the sphere and if there is an alternative staircase were missing. We walked it around and finally found an elevator (no staircase open to public). The elevator was smelly and felt like it will... More

Only recommendation would be directions to nearby parking. Maybe we just missed them. However, pretty neat. Enjoyed the little historical plaques and it was a nice stop out of the car for about a half hour (including walking to and from). Heed the signs and don't jump in the elevator and all will be well.

The panoramic view is astounding. The tower has a bar that's open at night as well. The viewing deck has facts about Knoxville and the World Fair, for which the sunsphere was built. Would I recommend this? If you're in the area, yes, if nothing just for the view

I love the Sunsphere Tower...let's start with the view...AMAZING! Probably the best view in all of Knoxville, especially in October...yes, you MUST go to "the tower" in the Fall....breathtaking! I haven't had a chance to visit Icon restaurant....but the menu looks soooo good! I'll be there next weekend though, celebrating my sons birthday, so I'll be sure to write a... More
