Warriors offers a lake, pool, golf course, driving range, and lots of other activities. Also has a campground but is close enough to town if you need more supplies. Most activities are free or very reasonably priced.

We camped here over a weekend, arriving Friday night and leaving on Sunday. We have a pop-up and our friends have a 22 ft. trailer. Making reservations is now easy thanks to the new TN State Parks reservations system (thank you state government!). The campground is cramped because the terrain is so uneven they basically had to cut in to... More

The lake is nice for swimmers and boaters alike. Duck Island is great for picnicking if you have reserved a shelter though there are other free picnic areas scattered through the park that are first come-first served. There is a frisbee golf course and the huge playground is just wonderful for every child including those with special needs. There is... More

I play several of the Georgia State Parks. While in Kingsport I decided to play Warriors SP, I really enjoyed it. Course was in good condition, reasonably priced and not overly crowded. Will definitely return when I am back in Kingsport.

As far as state parks go, this is nothing special. It has a beautiful lake, hiking trails, picnic area and marina but nothing that sets it apart from other state parks. You could spend a peaceful afternoon here enjoying nature but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop here.

I live fairly close to Warriors Path State Park so I visit it often with my wife and kids. They have hiking trails, bike trails, free to use tennis courts, free to use frisbee golf course and a very nice play ground based on the Chronicles of Narnia. They have a lot of picnic areas including several covered facilities. They... More

Our first real visit to park for a picnic/boating day. It's a great place for everyone...hikers, boaters, having a picnic. GREAT playground for kids, accessible to everyone. Great pool for swimmers and that is the only charge for practically all activities, except the paddle boats and canoes, which are very reasonable. Had a great time and would recommend this park... Warriors Path SP seems to be very well enjoyed by a lot of people. Jogging, biking, boating , fishing, and tennis are some of the activities being enjoyed there during my visit.

Enjoyed walking around Duck Island, and the Lookout path. Nice soccer fields, that were quite busy, the day we were there. The games didn't interfere with being able to enjoy the park's beautiful mountain/lake views. Lots of runners and dog walkers. Plenty of room for everyone.

I stopped by the ranger station 10 minutes after they closed, and was greeted by a park ranger who came out the door to greet me. He gave me maps to the bike trails and was very helpful.Though not the fault of the park staff, I was disappointed to find a lot of trash in and around the fire pit... More
