One of my Favorite Places - for the last 50 years! I grew up about mile from this state park. It has always been well staffed and beautifully maintained. As an adult, I have returned frequently for family picnics, camping trips, and quiet walks around the island. There is a wonderful playground for kids, based on the land of Narnia,... More

Check schedule as the boat rental marina was closed the day we went. But as I said even tho we could not rent a boat that day we still... More

Was very wheelchair friendly! It was a bit overgrown, but we watched a turtle lay eggs, ducks, large birds rooting around in the stream. It's a nice walk.

Warriors Path Boundless Playground "Where children of all abilities can play & learn together", really touched my heart! Thank for you for providing such a safe environment with lots of fun activities for all the kids, regardless of their mobility. Even has braille. The Lions Narnia pathway was incredible & the Anderson tree house was very impressive. They really outdid... More

My teen and my younger one both love the play area. You will find many structures that you don't see elsewhere. Plenty of opportunity to make up and complete a challenge. The Narnia story set up in back is fabulous for the small, dramatic types. We also took a trail ride. Our young guide did a great job and was... More

I enjoy walking around Duck Island or playing tennis. Hoping to rent peddle boats or kayaks this summer which is a service they offer. As a kid I went horseback riding and fishing several times at the park. I've always waned to check out the hiking trails but I'm not sure how to get to them. It's a beautiful place... More
