A low-key and inexpensive connection to nature. The wolves had three kits that were being bonded with humans. The turtles were out in force (we counted 17). The raptors were beautiful. And the planetarium was delightful as always.

This is a very nice place to go alone, with a friend, or with a family group. Beautiful mountain setting and the planetarium is very enjoyable. We even liked the gift shop. We have been there several times during different seasons and always enjoy it!

Our first time here and I will definitely be back with my kids. This place was great! We had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer.

Bays Mountain Park is wonderful! I can remember visiting there on field trips when I was in school! And my kids have too! And now we enjoy going as a family. I particularly enjoy running or hiking on the trails, and the planetarium is great too! The wildlife exhibits , etc! There is even zip lining and boat rides. Plenty... More

Went for a quick trip.... Great place to hike with many trails. There is a nice area with wolves and other animals. It cost $4 to get in the park.

We usually go to Bays Mountain several times a year. We love to see the animals they have and to see the wolf pups when they have them. The welcome center could use some work but it looked like they were working on it the last time we went and the room downstairs with the fish, could use some updating... More

Took my 11 year old nephew and his friend. We had a wonderful time. Seeing the wildlife was great. We also got to hear the wolves howl twice. All of the staff we encountered were very helpful and informative. A very beautiful place to hike and enjoy nature. Fred was our barge captain and he did a fabulous job. Looking... More

This is a city park, we are members so do not pay an entrance fee. There is a small fee for entrance and some of the programs. Barge rides, planetarium programs, and zipline are available;but best of all is the solitude of a short or long hike and views over the beautiful lake. All within a few minutes of the... More

Bays Mt. has many trails and a great wildlife area. On our last hike we saw a doe waiting right beside our trail. The lake is also lovely.

A fantastic place to visit to see wildlife in a natural environment. Not only fascinating but extremely informative a great place to take children to help them understand how wild animals live and thrive beside us on this planet
