Nice attraction for children

This park offers a lot for children. It is a small zoo as well as an educational experience . The pontoon boat ride had a very knowledgeable tour guide.

We love taking the grandchildren to see the wolves and birds of prey. The planetarium is also wonderful. Lots for them to do.

Even though this is a local park for me, it never gets old. The walk to the firetower is a little rough. Well worth it when you get to the top. The floating bridge is an easy walk. And very beautiful.

Bays Mountain Park has it all. It is close in to the city of Kingsport and has many hiking and biking trails. The trails range from a casual short scenic walk to an all day hike. They have a zoo like selection of native animals, reptiles, and fish. A ropes course for the adventurous and a relaxing planitarium. Bring a... More

I am not a fan of nature exhibits with enclosed animals but was pretty impressed with the wolf habitat, it was a good size & had lots of natural places for them to live without being bothered by us humans. Same with the bobcats. The Planetarium was very interesting & even kept my 7yr old son's interest. Loved hearing what's... More

Great park to take family to. Parking on holidays can be a major issue, so heads up on that. The park is clean and kids can learn a lot there. They have wolves...who doesn't love that? Best time to visit is in the fall when its cooler out.

Amazing place with walking trails and educational programs for the whole family. It is also a great location for field trips. This place is third grader approved!

Excellent maintained and marked trails from easy and short to moderate and long. Excellent displays. I joined up for a year so I come back on return trips.

We had a great time playing on the low adventure course. We do wish it had been marked better. It is not quite like the website. The 9-wk-old wolf cubs were out - a highlight, and the wolves were just fed. The wolf-keepers were there ready and willing to answer all of our questions.
