With my recent visit to Tennessee I had the opportunity to visit Bays Mountain Park. I was really impressed. It was so beautiful and green that even if there were not animals you would be in awe of nature. However, there are animals such as wolves, racoons, snakes and more. Definitely worth a trip if you are in the area.

Bay's mountain is a unique and beautiful park. From the planetarium to the trail hikes. Have to see the wolf and deer habitats. Where else can you are a lake on top of a mountain?! Love it here!

We had visited this park a few years earlier, and there seemed to be fewer animals on display this time. Habitats are OK but not accessible for the handicapped for frail elderly -- tree roots are a major hazard on steep-sloped paths. We were disappointed that boat rides on the reservoir are offered only in the afternoon, not during the... More

It's typically hard to see most of the animals. But it's a great place to hike! Lots of hiking trails of different lengths. Barge rides an planetarium. Lots of geocaches if so inclined.

The park have a few tracks, some are short for easy hiking. Also it have a small zoo, that make it excellant for families with kids. The only negative thing, it does not have enough parking spaces, specially during holidays.

We had a few hours to spend in Kingsport and stopped by this park to wile away the time. The park is a bit up a mountain, as the name tells you, and is mostly wooded and attractive. The state has created a number of habitats for rescued animals. Spacious outdoor areas contain deer, wolves, several sorts of birds. They... More

We love going. Its a great day trip for any age. We enjoy the different shows at the planetarium each visit. My daughter enjoys how they are always willing to teach her something new about the different animals.

I always enjoy visiting Bay's Mountain Park. There are several animal exhibits, including a large wolf exhibit. There are also very interesting bird exhibits and a river otter habitat. The planetarium offers a wonderful view of stars and planets that may otherwise be overlooked. There is an observatory, though I have never visited the park late at night when it's... More
