Visited in July and had a great time. Bought the family pass and saved a bundle. $35 and do all the paid attractions. Good for a year. Zip-lining, planetarium (cool shows) barge ride, lots of animals (check out the wolf pups online) got to do a howling for the pups. Had a picnic in the park. Cool trails as well.... More

This large nature preserve has live animal exhibits including a small building with several kinds of snakes. A small assortment of souvenir items are available for sale. There are plentiful hiking and biking trails and a planetarium. Very nice park to enjoy the outdoors, however the planetarium and zipline are only open certain days of the week and were closed... My wife and I were on vacation and family told us to visit Bays Mountain park. We arrived mid day on a Friday and parked near the Farmstead store, which much to my dismay, was closed! The animal exhibits are interesting, but look somewhat dirty or in disrepair. The beauty of the landscape is this park's one true saving grace.... More

Visiting Bays Mountain in August, 2014, was educational, relaxing and enjoyable! We LOVED seeing the young wolves and hearing the adult wolves "help" the human find her way home by howling in response to her "howl". The sound was so haunting, yet amazing! Where else can you get to see wolves and learn about them close up??? They also have... More

We have been to Bays mountain several times. The kids love the wildlife. The planiterium is usually great. But the last trip it was boring. But it is a fun place for the family.

There is a lot to enjoy at Bay's Mountain....in addition to the wildlife, there are trails, nature center, observatory, and many exhibits. One of special interests to me was the snakes and large birds. I go there often. Great place for photos if you are a photographer.

With my recent visit to Tennessee I had the opportunity to visit Bays Mountain Park. I was really impressed. It was so beautiful and green that even if there were not animals you would be in awe of nature. However, there are animals such as wolves, racoons, snakes and more. Definitely worth a trip if you are in the area.

Bay's mountain is a unique and beautiful park. From the planetarium to the trail hikes. Have to see the wolf and deer habitats. Where else can you are a lake on top of a mountain?! Love it here!

We had visited this park a few years earlier, and there seemed to be fewer animals on display this time. Habitats are OK but not accessible for the handicapped for frail elderly -- tree roots are a major hazard on steep-sloped paths. We were disappointed that boat rides on the reservoir are offered only in the afternoon, not during the... More
