We love going. Its a great day trip for any age. We enjoy the different shows at the planetarium each visit. My daughter enjoys how they are always willing to teach her something new about the different animals.

I always enjoy visiting Bay's Mountain Park. There are several animal exhibits, including a large wolf exhibit. There are also very interesting bird exhibits and a river otter habitat. The planetarium offers a wonderful view of stars and planets that may otherwise be overlooked. There is an observatory, though I have never visited the park late at night when it's... More

We got a family membership for $35 and we were able to do the barge ride, planetarium show, and a summer safety class for free with the card (up to 6 tickets free per show with membership). We also got zip line tickets for half off ($5 instead of $10) with that card. We planned to spend a few hours... More

After driving several hours I was feeling a little let down with what the park offered. The trail map I was given at the gate was a bit overwhelming. I couldn't seem to find a clear trail marker once I set out for a hike. By the way, DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG. They are not welcomed everywhere in the... More

I reviewed Bays a few years back, but I must say we visited this past week and had a wonderful time in the park. The hiking trails are very good and the park has made a lot of improvements in recent years including the addition of a ropes/zip line course. The animals seems much more well cared for, the planetarium... More

I've hiked, biked and ran trails on this mountain for 20 years now. The hiking trails are great, whether you want a short one around the lake or longer many hours long hikes. The planetarium is always fun, as well as seeing the wolves, snakes, birds, deer, river otters etc. There really is something to do here for the entire... More

Seeking some time in the great outdoors, my wife and I chose a sunny day to hike around one side of the lake and up to the old Fire Tower. The round trip is a little over 3 miles and there are some steep parts but the trail is well maintained and marked. Beautiful 360 degree views from the top... More

For a $4 entry fee per car it's great for a stop on a budget, especially if you have children. The bobcats and wolves were my favorite attractions. Although you can tell some of the wolves are very old. Love that all of the raptors are all rescues. Cannot comment on trails, barge, or planetarium as we didn't take the... More

Great park! Be sure to see the wolves. Catch a movie in the planetarium. The kids could have stayed all day but because of the rainy weather we left after 2 hours.
