This park always has lots going on with softball games, baseball games, soccer, walkers etc. This makes me feel safer when out walking. The trails are challenging and the park is well maintained. It's a beautiful place to get away right in town!

Ever since we moved here 7 years ago, we have loved Winged Deer Park. Our friends can tell you that we have planned many fun gatherings here. We love to play volleyball at the sand courts. We have rented Meredith Pavilion for birthday parties and had a great time. In May we had our middle daughter's graduation party here with... More

Visited with ages three sons ages 3 to 8 in July. The playscape was their favorite part, plus the long shady trails. A very nice place to relax or play with your kids. The rolling green hills around it are great for kids to run.

Walking trail, great fields for sporting events, trees for shade, food/beverages sold during the event.

This park has many choices for entertainment. There is a kids playground, there are asphalt hiking trailers in shaded woods and there are batting cages.

The playground by the water is terrific for children of all ages. Plenty of equipment to keep children engaged. Picnic tables and shade trees close to playground. As well as ample parking very close. Acres of grassy hills for children to safely run, play and explore.

The amenities at this park are very nice for a jogger. They have several trails that allow you to select difficulty and distance. They also have both paved and unpacked paths. The only drawback is that the paved paths need to be treated a bit more often, as fungus can grow on the path and make it slick in areas.... More

A nice park but if it is baseball or softball season good luck finding a parking spot. Nothing against either of those sports, it is just that the park is at capacity at certain times and if it is to be enjoyed then it is wise to plan accordingly as to your interest.

With the lake being down for at least 2 more years, this park is a bit drab. The playground was used so much in the past that it's showing a lot of wear. Plus, there isn't much to do at the playground. Winged Deer does have one of the toughest frisbie golf courses in the area. I haven't been to... More
