I have played many ball games on th Winged Deer fields. The park is well maintained and cleaned. The walking trails are great with paved or wooded hiking trails. There is also batting cages and play ground. There's something for everyone in the family.

Visited here just to kill a little time while the rest of the family was at the races. There were people swimming, boating, fishing and walking. The park is situated on a nice little lake and has a nice walking path partway along the water front. Even though the temperature was in the 90°s it was quite pleasant in the... More

We often go to Winged deer Park. Whether using a soccer field, walking path, ball field or the play ground and lake facilities this is an excellent facility. Well looked after and something to do for everyone. During summer we go to the lake and launch canoes. Kids swim. You can also fish! Excellent!

If you like open space, plenty of it by the lake. Great place to go play with your family, run your dog or just relax for a picnic. I've been there twice for company picnics and celebrations and it's an awesome place for events such as these. Covered eating area, bathrooms nearby, plenty of space to set up booths and... More

Moderate/easy walking, both the paved and the unpaved paths are comfortable, well-maintained and well marked. Not large, you'd be pushed to spend 45 minutes on paths without repeating yourself. A bit hilly in places. Lots of people around so you'll feel quite safe walking alone.

My wife and I dropped by this park on a recent visit to Johnson City. We were looking for a place to walk and exercise. The paved trails are great. The paved trail from the parking lot leads to the athletic field complex and track. It's just a really nice, convenient place to get in a little cardio workout. There's... More
