First time white water rafting, our family of 4 (including 2 young boys 8 and 10 y/o) had the best time! We were a little nervous before hand, but our guide James was excellent and quickly calmed any fears that we had going in. We did the upper rapids bc the lower rapids were not open when we visited, but... More

We were a group of six and it was our first time whitewater rafting. We visited during Spring Break and it was pretty cold, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the tour(Upper River). They provided us with nylon jackets and pants at no extra charge. Water levels were good so we could experience some class 4 rapids. Bring a... More

Our group had an amazing experience with Smoky Mountain Outdoors White Water Rafting. From booking the group of 41, to communicating before we came, to the experience itself - absolutely every part of the trip was a success. The process of getting equipment was organized and efficient, the guides were great, and our booking agent, Dann, is one of the... More

Me and my friend (20-years old) took a trip to SMO for white water rafting for our first time! We had so much fun and if we were to go back, we would definetly request Reverend Dean again! He made the trip so fun by telling jokes, etc the whole trip, that he definetly made it worth it! Can't wait... More

Did the upper pigeon river on March 14th. Water was in mid 30s. It was pretty cold. Recent rains and release of dam water meant water level was excellent and fast moving. Stanley was our guide and he was fantastic. We were a team of 5 and we had 4 class 4 and 10+ class 3 rapids and it was... More

Took the family. Daughter 8. First time for both of us. GREAT experience!! Our guide, Dean, was perfect. He was entertaining and experienced, which made this Momma feel very much at ease. The staff as a whole was very accommodating. Will definitely be returning.

We visited in August but only did the family float and raft. We were late getting there and missed our time slot but they were great and put us on the next trip down steam. Our guide was excellent and pointed out lots as we floated down and went through the smaller rapids, lots of info and history on the... More
