Interesting setting and use of former factory. Lots of small shops from antiques to crafts, toys, clothes, etc.

The drive out to Franklin on the highway was more interesting than the shops. You will see some magnificent homes and old mansions. The shopping center is not that large and had some vacant spaces. Not worth the drive....
The Factory has some cool shops and I love stopping by to see the pets. BUT Saturday AM is the best time to go. The Franklin Farmer's Market opens at 9am in the summer, be sure to google them to verify the hours. Make sure to bring cash, some of the farmers only take the green stuff. Also it is...

Former Franklin Stove factory turned into very eclectic working artist studios (You can watch artists in many disciplines at work!) coupled with interesting and unusual shops make this a fun place to go.
This is a factory turned into a mall but the shops are all unique, mostly hand crafted items. It's definitely worth a visit.
If you go to Franklin, Tn, you have got yo visit The Factory. Easy to find. It is about a mile from the downtown square. Go North on Main st. It will turn into Franklin Road. The Factory will be on the right. All kind of shops, several places to eat, a great ice cream shop and a farmers market.
The Factory has a little something for everyone: dining, shopping, antiquing, and many other things, like pottery painting. The restaurants come in every price point, and the shops are for all ages. There is plenty of free parking too.
Worth a walk through as there are some nice galleries, a great Viking gourmet food store, and a good restaurant. If in the Franklin area it is worth your visit.
