Interesting place to walk around. Not a lot if kids are in tow as most stores are unique shops or artist's on site with original work. Farmers Market in back looked interesting but didn't visit as it was raining. Also looked like a nice venue for a wedding.

I wish I had more time. The place is small, but I didn't have enough time to photograph everything and really look at all the art throughout the place.

The Factory was the place for the wedding and reception I attended while in the Franklin, TN area. It was a great place for both events. Decorating the rustic/vintage/country/victorian styles is already started in the building. Plenty of space for tables to eat, drink and arrange for dancing in the center! Great stage. Fun place!

Info online and reviews led us to believe this was a much more 'happening' shopping place than it is. We walked from one end to the other and found that there is a limited number of specialty shops actually open, with quite a few store spaces empty. The antique mall inside the Factory is a nice size, but it was... More

This circa 1929 complex of buildings is on the National Historic register. It was formerly a stove and mattress factory. Now it has entertainment offerings, live theater, restaurant and snack bars, antique, clothing, artist galleries, AND a great photo op. There is a gigantic rocking chair. There have been so many of us who have sat atop this rocker and... More

A very nice mix of antique and specialty shops. Lots of art and nice places to have a snack or fine dinner both.

Wished we had arrived a bit earlier, as most of the shops were beginning to close. Looks like a few special finds could have been had... artists originals to shabby chic finds, and a little something for everyone!

Unfortunately this place just doesn't have much going on - one quasi ok lunch restaurant - but the shops leave a lot to be desired and it's not worth a trip...

we visited the factory during the week and we were almost the only people there. we spent most of our time in the antique shop which was great. there is a ton of stuff. prices were probably higher than expected on some things. the rest of the factory was very nice, clean and spacious. there were other unique shops. there... We like to walk around The Factory when we visit Franklin. The "metal man" out front is interesting and fun to look at. Inside we especially enjoy the antique store. It has a great variey of antiques and some not so old items. Great inventory of old fine jewelry, books and some old furniture. Many unique items. It is our... More
