Unfortunately this place just doesn't have much going on - one quasi ok lunch restaurant - but the shops leave a lot to be desired and it's not worth a trip...

we visited the factory during the week and we were almost the only people there. we spent most of our time in the antique shop which was great. there is a ton of stuff. prices were probably higher than expected on some things. the rest of the factory was very nice, clean and spacious. there were other unique shops. there... We like to walk around The Factory when we visit Franklin. The "metal man" out front is interesting and fun to look at. Inside we especially enjoy the antique store. It has a great variey of antiques and some not so old items. Great inventory of old fine jewelry, books and some old furniture. Many unique items. It is our... More

I do live in the area and have been to The Factory several times. Overall, it is disappointing in choices with the available shops and restaurants although there are some unique boutiques and artists. Anytime I have gone, it has never been really bustling which at first surprised me. History buffs may enjoy the historic building itself. Overall, prices are... More

We went on a Saturday afternoon and were the only shoppers in the mall. Mostly empty stores or small over priced stores. Few restaurants. We went to one that had customers but were told they were closed for lunch to prepare for dinner. They had maybe 6 people in their restaurant. You would think they would have appreciated the business.... More

I was expecting an unique shopping experience in a historic building. If you are looking for a few unique handmade items, this could be the place. There were very few eating and shoppings choices for what is advertised as a tourist attraction. You'd have better choices at the Cool Springs Mall.

My family and I arrived at the Factory around 4:15 PM on a weekday to look around. We expected the place to be bustling with creative shops and restaurants but it was completely dead. The Music City doghouse was closed for the day and it seemed like Saffire was the only restaurant open but their prices were astronomical for the... More

The factory's architecture was amazing, such an eclectic blend of textures. The restaurants were great and the shops combined with a great experience. Watching artists work was also a great touch to this establishment.

An old stove factory turned into a shopping mall. Nice little shops - antiques, kids' clothes, pottery shop, guitar shop, art galleries, rug shop, furniture, and many gift shops. The Stoveworks restaurant is not very good but Saffire is usually a good bet. Nice way to spend an afternoon.

I liked the fact that it was an old factory so not just tile and glass. Could use more budget type shops and also more food places.
