Not just walking tours, we now offer bicycle tours and rentals too. The ghost tour is our most popular tour, but visitors also love hearing about the rich past that lies just beneath the surface of Franklin's quaint Victorian charm. Site of "the most famous battle you've never heard of," according to National Geographic, Franklin's Civil War story will amaze and enlighten you on the most divisive time in American history. Just minutes south of Nashville, Franklin is often cited as one of the most beautiful downtowns in the U.S. Our enthusiastic, knowledgeable guides will make your visit to historic Franklin an unforgettable experience. Our tours include the Classic Franklin city tour, Civil War in Franklin, Grave Matters in the Cemetery, and for fans of evening activities, the Haunted Franklin, Ghosts of the Battlefield at the Lotz House and Murder and Mayhem Tours. Bicycle tours and rentals are available from March-November and our Southern Style food tours allow visitors to savor the flavors of Franklin and enjoy history at the same time. Most tours are available daily by advance reservation; some tours have minimums. Just call and see how flexible and accommodating we can be.

Franklin on Foot is a fabulous way to spend the afternoon. The public square has many different shops, cafes and restaurants. We spent a couple of hours walking into different shops and stopping at The Frothy Monkey for an afternoon treat. This is a very quaint city. The people are so polite. I loved visiting Franklin, TN and will definately... More

Margie was a knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide! The stories she told on the Haunted Franklin tour made me shiver, in a good way, and showed me a side of Franklin I never knew. Definitely check this out when you're in the area!

We took our family of two teens and one 12 year old on Margie's tour and we all had a great time! Margie is not only very knowledgeable about the history of Franklin but also a very good story teller. We had a fun group that listened to every word and enjoyed a few laughs also! You've got to keep... More

A tour around Franklin narrated by Margie was a great trip down history of Franklin, while visiting some ghosts.

Did the haunted Franklin evening tour. It was a walking tour of a small area. The narrator walked us over to houses and spots and gave some history and stories about the buildings and its "former" and not-so former inhabitants.. Was a nice little evening on a very warm summer night!

We took the Franklin on Foot downtown hauntings tour Friday evening with Margie, the owner. My husband & I enjoyed our tour immensely, as did every single person on the tour! Our ninety minute tour actually lasted closer to two hours (which was fantastic!) and was filled with awesome stories of old and new Franklin, Tennessee. Margie is an amazing... More

Our tour guide, Margie, was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about Franklin and the history connected with the civil war. She was hospitable and welcomed us warmly. Margie answered all questions with clarity and knew all the answers. I would recommend this walking tour to anyone new to the city. I would suggest that you do this tour first, then... More

Margie was a fabulous host and very informative with many more stories than she had time to share. My 9 and 11 year olds were very intrigued with the tales she had as well as the "proof" pictures she shared. What a great way to learn about the history of this neat little town. Time and money well spent if... More
