We had an enjoyable time. We rented 2 paddleboats for $2.50 each and the canoe was free! There were many picnic tables to choose from. It was a lovely day!

I met a friend there. It was getting late, but, the food was still fresh and well-maintained. The line moved well; believe me, there was a line. Even though I'm sure the staff had to be exhausted, all were polite and attentive. Price fit well with the fare. The large buffet had something for every taste and age. Dessert was... More

This is a beautiful state park, all original buildings were done by the Tennessee CCC, including the wonderful old stone bridge. In this park you will find a campground (with some full hookups), lodge and picnic grounds.

So much to do rain or shine kayak or trail, olympic pool or horse shoes. Enjoy the great outdoors! Trails are well marked and there is one for all levels.

They received a grant, so all boats with exception of paddle boats are free to use this summer (weather permitting). Campgrounds are under renovations, so we can't camp like we would like to, once that is fixed I would give this place a better rating. Excellent pool, nice playground area, rustic cabins available for rent, there's a lot to do... More

We drove through the park just to see what all was offered and I wish that we would have had more time to visit. The cabins looked cute & cozy, beautiful areas for a picnic or pictures. Wished we would have had more te.

We took our grand kids and their mother to eat and walk along the lake area. Also, to let the 8 and 4 year olds fish some. Great food and lots that the kids liked. The lake area is very clean, comfortable to walk and the scenic value is beyond anything you could ask for in a State Park area.... More

We were staying for a week at Fairfield Glades and kept running into people who said "Be sure to go to the buffet at the state park." Not to be a snob but I just don't care for buffets much. We were out and about one day at lunch time so decided what the heck - lets go. Well first... More

We enjoyed the view of the lake and scenery. Ducks were on the lake and it looked so peaceful as we ate. The food choices were amazing and the price was right. I had several things like greens, catfish and banana pudding that I had never eaten before. It was fun to try new things that are traditional in the... More

You can spend the day at the pool, camp at night, go paddleboarding the next day, or take a walk on the hiking trails through the woods. The pool gets really crowded in the summer. Be sure and bring some kind of shade to get out of the sun. There is a pool for small children, and a diving board... More
