This is a great development of the City of Chattanooga. What a great view of the river and different ways to either walk or sit and take in some sunshine or the view. You should take time out to go to this area if you are in Chattanooga!

Chattanooga has done it right! The river has been used and the property bordering it has been developed for entertainment. What a neat Concept! Two thumbs up Chattanooga!

Riverpark in downtown Chattanooga is beautiful, clean, and safe. We rent the bikes from the Kiosks located many places throughout downtown Chattanooga and take a long, relaxing, pretty 5-7 miles ride along the Tennessee River. There is also a bridge that only allows walkers and bikers on it that crosses the Tennessee River. The mountains in the back drop make... More

As we travel and always with our bicycles, we love exploring cities via their bike ways and Chattanooga's has got to be the best---head and shoulders above all others and we've been on some very fine paths. The length is about 8 miles from Ross Landing to the Chickamauga. There are we'll-kept and clean restrooms and water fountains along the... More

We were in Chattanooga five days for the Ironman Triathlon that used the park for much of the race. It was a great location for the expo, transition and finish. It was clean spacious and easy to get around. The river walk is very nice and the water features relaxing. Unlike areas like this in some cities, the park felt... More

Very nice walking/biking path right in downtown Chattanooga - clean, smooth, paved trail along the river.

Water features and sculpture everywhere. Bicycles to rent and explore the Riverwalk area and the Aquarium is great -see the jellyfish exhibit! We took the 2 hr. Aquarium Rivercruise and it was so fun and classy!

Starts downtown by aquarium lots of food options, fountains, grassy areas to play. Start walking east towards the Hunter Art Musem into the Artsy Bluff view district continue on for 8 miles to Chickamauga Dam passing several parks also the way. Biking, jogging, walking, roller blade your day away. Light areas, some section close at dusk.

Views of the river and bridges are amazing, and you can get a little exercise (essential, given Chattanooga's great restaurants) and enjoy a break from the urban landscape.
