Antique carousel is the only thing you have to pay for. Bring a change of clothes for the kids so they can play in the fountain. On the other hand, leave the kids behind and stroll down the river.

This area is very scenic and located right near the aquarium and lots of restaurants. The water stairwell was really neat, but much colder than I expected. We took a stroll across the bridge after dinner and the sunset over the mountains was gorgeous!

We were on our way to the riverboat and didn't realize we would enjoy the walk through the Riverpark. Will make time to go back and enjoy some of the walking paths and fountains.

Were taken a back by how beautiful and well planned this area of the city was. The architecture was beautiful and the place is very family friendly. It's clean and safe, with many restaurants in the area. Have your kids come in swimsuits so they can splash in the "rivers"!!!

We enjoy biking from the dam down to the Walnut Street Bridge, about 17 mi. round trip. We often pack a picnic and stop and eat at the Riverpark or on the Walnut St. Bridge. It's peaceful and provides some great exercise.

We walked through the park after our Southern Belle Riverboat cruise. It was very pretty with some playgrounds, statues, and fountains. Well worth an early evening stroll.

A little off the beaten track but very pretty and peaceful. Beautiful river views, nice playground area, walking paths, some sculptures to peruse along a paved walkway. A great little gem.

We found the mix of things to see and do just fascinating. So close to downtown Chattanooga that you can go into town for food. The water feature/art was so cool. A stroll down the walkways to see an eclectic mix of people was refreshing. Great open spaces and various ways they incorporated greenery.
