We stumbled upon the Riverpark on our quick visit to Chattanooga and spent much longer there than we planned. The kids LOVED it! We came on a cool late-summer evening when it wasn't crowded, so we strolled through the water-ways with the kids splashing, swimming, playing all night. I could spend a day there with the kids and a picnic.... More

On an unplanned overnight stay in Chattanooga we stumbled on a summer concert series right on the river. There were tons of people, pets and vendors and the music was great! We stayed until after the sun set and had a great time!

Being a local resident of Chattanooga, the Tennessee Riverpark is a great addition to our city. There are literally options for everyone! Whether you go solo, or with your significant other, or with family, the Riverpark doesn't disappoint. Spanning the entire river front area from Chickamauga Dam to downtown Chattanooga, you have access to bike, walk, run, fish, etc. There... More

There is always a lot going on here. Families love it. And it is great for people watching! I like the fountains that kids can play in and the merry go round! Lots of frisbe and ball playing, bikers, walkers.

We love coming yo this park every time we visit Chattanooga. The kids really enjoy being able to run around and play here. There are plenty of opportunities for the kids to get wet!

My boyfriend and I went to Chattanooga and stayed in a hotel near the river. We rode bikes that you can find using the kiosks all over the city - great way to travel! You only pay if you ride over 1 hour. The Riverpark area was very well maintained. Lots of place to sit and check out the river.... More

Antique carousel is the only thing you have to pay for. Bring a change of clothes for the kids so they can play in the fountain. On the other hand, leave the kids behind and stroll down the river.

This area is very scenic and located right near the aquarium and lots of restaurants. The water stairwell was really neat, but much colder than I expected. We took a stroll across the bridge after dinner and the sunset over the mountains was gorgeous!

We were on our way to the riverboat and didn't realize we would enjoy the walk through the Riverpark. Will make time to go back and enjoy some of the walking paths and fountains.
