Best of the riverfront!

Family fun. Large area for kids to play with breathtaking scenery along the riverfront. Carousel ride is a plus for all ages!! Open Year round. Parking is limited however.

Excellent riverwalk. My wife and I rented bikes for the day for $8 each and rode around downtown Chattanooga. We also rode from the Walnut Street Bridge to the dam, approx 7 miles each way. Terrific bike/hiking trail that was paved and well lit.

This is a great park for taking long, quiet walks or for hosting parties. I come out here at least once a week just to clear my head.

The Tennessee River Park is currently undergoing some much needed renovation. In time, it should be a showpiece of the Scenic City. Meanwhile, cross over the Walnut Street Bridge and enjoy what the revitalized Northshore has to offer. Specialty shops and restaurants abound, including my personal favorites Brewhaus and All Things Groovy.

There's plenty to do in Chattanooga and everything you can do has that laid back, just enjoy it, not hustle bustle way about it and the River Park is no different. It's one of our little joys when we want to get away from the big city and let time escape sitting next to one of our county's longest rivers.... More

The park is a wonderful place to splash in the water on a hot summer day! If your going to be in downtown Chattanooga on a hot day bring the kids a swim suit so they can play after a visit to the many other attractions in chatt! It's free and fun! There are several places you will find stair... More

We go here regularly. There are 2 playgrounds...one for small children and one for bigger children. We've enjoyed taking lunch there and sitting on the benches around the trees. Our kids love walking down to the water and taking the Riverwalk down to the bridge.
