The Chattanooga Visitor Center used to be housed in a perfect space in a perfect location, in the second floor of a building right next to the aquarium. The volunteers were happy, friendly, and knowledgeable, and there were lots of brochures and materials. They were a delight to talk to, and shared information about anything you were interested in. Very helpful and informative staff. They gave us a self guided walking tour brochure which definitely helped our visit.

Chattanooga is a great little town to visit with so many things to do. Having a place to turn for some great advice and to get answers was really nice. The workers live here and still do a great job thinking like a visitor so that you will get a good perspective of how to spend your time wisely.

Located downtown near the aquarium. Good place to start and plan your visit. It is also the terminal for the electric shuttle busses that you can ride around to parts of the city...for free.

The guys here were great! They were particularly helpful with directions. A bus driver had sent us several blocks apparently not knowing the attraction had moved many many blocks away. These guys are up to date and very patient and getting us to the correct location.

This is a large booth at the electric shuttle depot, the man helping us gave a few suggestions and pamphlets on where to go. Very friendly.

First thing, this visiter center was not easy to locate the day we arrived. Construction on the street, a cement truck parked to block the entrance - found it though, parked in the building titled "BLOCK" and the elevator let us off on the first level, right in the visiter center, which is also the hub for the best thing... Informative & cool on a sunny day. They were very helpful and had lots of free info. The free shuttle was fun to ride and a convenient way to park & see more of Chattanooga!
