Hard to find, and have to pay to park nearby

It was very difficult to locate this - it is in kind of an outdoor hallway, actually it's next to the CARTA free bus stop. There were only a few racks of brochures. Roger was very helpful and told us about the free buses, We had difficulty finding a parking lot that had open spots and that would accept payment... More

I thought that everyone there was very knowledgeable and one thing I would like to add is run that shuttle on Sundays - when tourists are there!!!

The employees are extra friendly and will go out their to help. The information they give is accurate. The area is very clean in every respect. I would stop there evry time.

Stopped at the visitor center before going to the aquarium. Pamela Green was very helpful!!! So was so nice and gave me information about the city. She also answered my questions. Without knowing it, I was standing there talking to her for 20 minutes!

My husband and I made one of our regular trips up to Chattanooga today (October 19, 2014) from Kennesaw, GA. We had never used the visitors center before today. We asked a very sweet woman named Pam for directions to the Oktoberfest. She gave us very detailed directions and how to take the shuttle closer to the location so we... More

I LOVE Chattanooga! There are so many wonderful things to do, and people are so friendly. A few years ago when I first visited Chattanooga they had a beautiful Visitor's Center, today they have no plans for a visitor center other than the mobile brochure racks currently situated under a bridge at the Aquarium, available only in fair weather. A... More

Chattanooga had a beautiful visitor center 2 years ago but on our last visit to Chattanooga in July we discovered it was closed and they only had a small open air information booth at the Tn. Aq. It was a nice visitors center.....

We received a lot of interesting information from the lady that was working. She told us about the best places to go and see, also the best camping areas as we we're pull in' our travel trailer.

It certainly wasn't where the sign downtown directed us to. And when we asked a few folks all they knew was it moved but didn't know where. For as nice at Chattanooga is, this was a real disappointment.

The welcome center offered so much information. I was in town for a convention and had plenty of free time. I was able to find lots to do.
