Imagine a zoo where you have time to notice the subtleties of animal behavior, instead of being pushed along by an impatient crowd. The zoo was fairly small but very exciting and beautiful. I will definately be visiting again! The exhibits were well maintained. More

We went and it was a pretty nice little place, the kids loved it. We would probably go back there again one day. It's not huge or amazing but for what it is I really did enjoy my visit with the kids. More

Zoos are amazingly fun places to be with your family and especially families with young children. You get to see the animals, be outside in a park like setting, and eat a snack. The Chattanooga zoo does not have any of these worth mentioning. I would compare it to someone's hobby of collecting animals in small cages rather than a... More

On Saturday April 28, 2012 I took my 6 year old to this zoo for the first time. It is a very small zoo compared to the 48 other zoos we did last year but it was outstanding as far as the up close encounters of these animals. You will be able to tell my the photo's I log in.... More

Yes, it's small BUT it's not overcrowded and there's certainly plenty of animals to look at. This is really perfect for younger kids that are slower moving but my teen girls had a good time oohing and ahhing over the animals. It was alot of fun. More

We have visited many zoos and thought since we were in town we would check this one out. Admission is only $8.95 for adults, free parking. Only took us a couple hours here to see everything, not a lot of animals but it was a nice zoo. They are building several more things to see but it is nice for... More

This zoo has improved dramatically in the last several years and is continuing to grow and expand. The downside is that it is not in the best part of town. It is, however, a part of historic Warner Park, which at its inception was a thriving and active part of Chattanooga. Warner park is the Softball Capital of the South... More

I previously lived in Chattanooga and came here regularly. The volunteers are great and know alot too. They tell you about the animals' personalities. This is a great zoo considering the relitivelely low price! More
