Description: Chattanooga Double Decker is the most scenic and historic tour in...
Chattanooga Double Decker is the most scenic and historic tour in Chattanooga! Whether its our daytime, sunset or night tours, no one covers more history and scenery than we do. Don't be fooled, the best view of the city isn't from the bottom of the river but from the highly elevated bridges we will cross for a total of 4 times. Whether its the Veteran's bridge, Market Street Bridge, the Brabson home, underground Chattanooga, the Chattanooga Choo Choo, Bluff View Art District or Coolidge Park, we cover more territory and history in 1 hour than any other tour group from an authentic 1960s open top Double Decker bus. Plus with your tour you will receive a free moonpie and Double-Cola, both made in Chattanooga! OPEN MARCH-NOVEMBER

The tour was absolutely wonderful! The owner of the bus howevever was not so pleasant. My group found him very rude and not friendly.. After we departed the bus back at aquarium, a older man and woman asked him how do they book the bus. "It's called the Internet" was his exact words then he drove off. Our city does... More

This is a great place to start if you've never visited Chattanooga before. Sitting up top the bus was a unique and enjoyable way to get an overview of the city. The historical info was very interesting & entertaining. We also got great tips on places to visit & the finale was particularly delicious with a double cola & mini... More

Rufus, our driver was great! Wonderful for history buffs. It is an open air bus, so I would not recommend going in extreme heat. Definitely wear sunscreen. Tour is two hours long and well worth it.

I suggest doing this first. There's so much history you'll learn about and find out about other interesting places to visit. My teenagers enjoyed the ride and my toddler was ecstatic because she's read about double decker busses from the Thomas the Tank Engine series. The guide was friendly and accommodating as well.

Chattanooga was a stop over on the way to Nashville. We took the Chattanooga Double Decker tour with owner/operator Rufus. We learned quite a bit about the city on this tour and were able to see the highlights. It is quite a comprehensive tour. Rufus did a magnificent job. I highly recommend this tour on your trip to Chattanooga, or... More

This was our first trip to Chattanooga and a great way to see the city. It really helped us to get a lay of the land so we could figure out what we wanted to go back and see. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable about the city and the history back to Civil War times. He was very energetic... More

Great way to get an awesome view of Chattanooga while hearing lots of fantastic information regarding the city. Great for adults and the kids loved it too. At the end, we got a moon pie and a drink - both representatives of the city.

I bought a double take deal for this for 2 adults and 2 kids for I think $30 which was half price. They do have limited tours at least in the Fall where there were only like two tours a day and the latest one was at 2 pm. So I had to take the kids out of school early... More

I booked this tour on Groupon for a short overnight stay while in Chattanooga. The morning of the tour, we waited for the bus to show up. Never did. One employee who was working at a nearby kiosk asked if we were waiting for the bus tour. He said sometimes if there are not enough passengers, the driver will cancel.... More

Found this on Groupon and have to say it was worth the purchase. It was a beautiful day out and a nice historic ride through the city!
