The sidewalk tour was a wonderful way to learn about Chattanooga. Our guide, Carlton, customized our tour to our interests. He provided well balanced information, combining historical facts with possible myths & when speaking of recent history, included wonderful personal accounts & memories. This combination resulted in an informative & charming experience. Extremely affordable! I highly recommend Chattanooga Sidewalk Tours!

My husband and I love to do walking tours wherever we go. It is a great way to learn more about the places you visit. I searched for a walking tour for our recent trip to Chattanooga and found Chattanooga Sidewalk tours. Initially I had wanted to do both the Bluff and Bridges tour and the Dynamo of Dixie tour.... I love discovering activities that fall under the typical tourist radar, especially ones as interesting and fun as Chattanooga Sidewalk Tours. Two tours are offered and I chose the Bridges and Bluff tour. Part of the appeal was that it encompassed several things on my visit wish list including walking the Walnut Street Bridge, the Bluff View Art District, Coolidge... More

My friend and I loved the Bluffs and Bridges tour. Our guide, Ginnie, told us lots of stories of Chattanooga as we leisurely walked across one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world. We are looking forward to going back to Chattanooga to do another tour.

I have lived in Chattanooga for four years and my only regret is not having taken a walking tour of the city by Ginnie Harris sooner. It was fantastic! Ginnie led us in a Bluffs and Bridges tour and kept us captive with real, breathtaking facts and stories about the area. She has a keen passion for communicating narratives and... More

My husband and I spent a day in Chatanooga earlier this month on our way to Florida. We decided to take the "Bridges and Bluffs" tour with Ginnie Harris. We had been to Chatanooga several times ove the past twenty years and had seen some of the historic sites. This tour was amazing! Ginnie had a wealth of knowledge about... More

My wife and I had visited Chattanooga 3-4 times previously and always found it 'interesting'. Most recently we visited with another couple who wanted to take the Bluffs and Bridges Tour. Not being a fan of walking tours, I had low expectations. However our guide, Ginnie Harris, completely changed my mind about the value & enjoyment of such an expedition... More

My wife and I have been visiting Chattanooga for over 25 years as our weekend getaway from Atlanta. We make it a point to discover a new experience in Chattanooga every time we come here. Chattanooga Sidewalk tours," Dixie Dynamo" was our most recent discovery. Ginny Harris was our guide and obviously loves explaining the history of the area in... More

Our guide was Ginnie Harris, a retired teacher of French and Chattanooga enthusiast. As my daughter and I were the only ones in the party, Ms. Harris was able to point out and speak to us individually and to answer all of our questions. Her knowledge of places, buildings, historic homes and the bridges was exceptional. As I have lived... More

I have lived in or near Chattanooga for 43 years. Today, my mother in law and I took the "Dynamo of Dixie" Walking tour through downtown Chattanooga. I must say, I saw things that I have never seen before and I heard stories that I have never heard before! It was wonderful. Ginnie Harris was our guide and she was... More
