We took our 3 little ones, 6,4 & 2, and they had a great time! The hike around the trails were very easy. There was a cool treehouse. We got to see some animals and watch them be fed!! If you do the driving trail, there is some little old cabins and a bamboo forest. Definitely a cool thing to... More

Will NEVER visit this place. The crotchety old woman at the front desk was very rude, hateful and short spoken. We turned and left the place and did not go in. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

Being new to the area, I stopped by the Roswell Visitor Center and received information about local attractions. The Chattanooga Nature Center did not disappoint. The gentleman who check us in was super friendly, told us where to visit and about upcoming events. My sons and I had a lot of fun. In fact, before we left they said they... More

We love the CNC! It's a great place to go and just enjoy the outdoors. We love the trails, the rocks are fun to climb on, and the low-traffic roads are great for bike rides. Take a picnic lunch! It's gorgeous in the fall, and their special Halloween and Christmas events are some of the best around!

If you would want to take a great, non strenuous hike in Chattanooga, this is the place to go! We almost skipped it based on a very negative review we saw from this month, but I am so glad we stopped by to check it out! Yes, some exhibits like the wildlife wander land are best for some people only... More

We are members at the Nature Center. I have written reviews before. We went today in October and it was so beautiful. The leaves were changing and the view of the mountain was gorgeous. They have added some things like a small nature based play area for kids which is really cute. We also went on a field trip there... More

First of all its not worth your money. We paid 37 dollars for my family to go and it wasn't worth it at all. The first horrible thing about the nature center was the Wildlife Wanderland which was apparently suppose to half wolfs and other animals like egrets and herons. That reminds me also the Blue Heron Boardwalk was closed... More

My husband, 2 kids, and I visited during our day trip to Chattanooga. I expected more for the price. (Luckily the kids got in free). It was really pretty I just didn't feel that it was worth $20 for my husband and I.

This was a little side trip that we did after coming off of Lookout Mountain. Some of the nature trails were closed because of the recent rains and they were under water. But, we were able to take the driving path and enjoy some of the flowering plants and trees and see some of the flooding. We also saw a... More
