Great bonding time with my teen. She thought that it would be nothing more than walking around rocks and plants. We enjoyed Lover Leap and the midway stop for snacks and water. A bit disappointed in the deer park, where there were only 3 deer to be seen. Perhaps they were all tired. The Birds of Prey show should go... More

I remember coming to Rock City, and seeing the road-side signs when I was a kid in the 60's & 70's. I've always loved this place, and hadn't been back in many many years. It is a beautiful, breathtaking space, and great for a relaxing visit in Chattanooga.

First off...going to Rock City is worth the drive for the beautiful views and the lovely trails. Also, all the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend going if you are in the Chattanooga area. However, they have let portions of the infrastructure fall into a little neglect. 1. The Fudge Shop walls were dingy/dirty and one... More

We thoroughly enjoyed a day walking through the rock gardens. I especially loved the bridges and the views were amazing. The Mother Goose display was great!

Rock City is a little hidden gem on the outskirts of Chattanooga, on the Tennessee/Georgia border. It is an experience to see and feel the rocks, and beautiful scenery to take pictures or just stand there and take it all in. The main attraction is the spot where you can see 7 states (Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina,... More

Did not know what to expect from Rock City but sure enjoyed it. There are several trails leading through crevaces, over boulders, and around many types of vegetation - even a swing bridge to traverse. Views included the whole valley below showing multiple states, water falls, great rock formations, and even gnomes and other fantasy creatures to entertain the kids.

It was fun to see the rock formations and the view from the top. The restaurant was crowded, but decent. However, the crowds on Labor Day weekend slowed things down considerably.

We arrived very early and were some of the first to walk through. Based on previous reviews I thought it would take 2 hours to get through but surprisingly it only took us a little over an hour with two little kids and still plenty of pictures. We could have easily stretched it out, but an hour was about as... More

Yes, this is a tourist attraction. Yes, there are some touristy aspects to it. BUT the walkways/path are beautiful with flora and it is obviously well cared for. Would like to come again when the temp is a little cooler and less humid. My family and I enjoyed it.

I have been to Rock City probably 3 times in my life, the most recent visit, being the most enjoyable. I haven't been in probably 15 years until 2 weeks ago. Our first visit was with our then 2 year old son. It was fun for us all. Our next visit was with our then 6 year old son and... More
