We spent six day in the Chattanooga area celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, the last place we visited was Rock City. The whole trip I had wanted to go there, but was concerned about all the walking, as my husband has bad knees, age is showing for both of us. But we decided to give it a try. I was... more

So, I was looking forward to this nature walk and seeing 7 states and what do I get? Man's intrusion on nature is what I get. I absoluted hated, HATED the way they have made this experience. They start you out through a gift shop, fine, I accept that, and out to a court yard of manmade waterfalls and patio,... more

This was a beautiful walk through wonderful gardens sorrounded by huge boulders. The views of the city were amazing, as well as the view of the seven states. However, if you are going with only adults and teenagers, you might want to skip Mothergoose Village and Ferryland. An occasional gnome in a garden is cute. A complete village of gnomes... more

My husband and I went to Rock City the morning of May 12th, 2009. It was wonderful! Such a nice relaxing way to spend the morning. It wasn't too hot! All the plants were in bloom. Gorgeous views! Not overly crowded either. I liked how it was self guided, and we could take our time and stop and sit if... more

Absolutely one of the best places we've gone to in recent memory. Breathtaking views, wonderfull trails. The Wife loved the fairy tale caves. We bumped into the owner of Rock City, He insisted on taking a picture for us on the suspended bridge. The definition of Southern hospitality. more

We just got back from visiting Rock City, Ruby Falls and Incline Railway and we all loved everything!!! We brought our three kids(12, 9, and 4). There was something for everyone! All three attractions took all day which was nice. We all saw so many things we have never experience before. The enchanted cave was a little "cheesy" but our... more
