We have been here in the past and is always a pleasure. We went last year, but added a $5.00 upgrade fee to see the lights at night with the wife and our three small girls, which we loved so much (that was our first time seeing the lights). This year we want to go back and was so alarmed... more

Rock City is the best. I have been to it many times. My parents brought me as a child, and I just brought my son as a child. Rock City is among the rarest kind of tourist attractions, it has been in operation for over 75 years. This proves that people love what Rock City has to offer as longevity... more

My family and I enjoyed visiting Rock City for summer vacation. The boys had such a wonderful time going through the caves, going over the swinging bridge and just enjoying the day there... I loved being able to have such an awesome backdrop for photos of my boys and loved it there. Big bonus with the Starbucks outside for a... more

We absolutely loved this place! Just a neat stop to take a nice walk with gorgeous views. My boys ages 6yrs and 3yrs loved walking in and out of the caves and over the hanging bridge! I thought the gardens were pretty and got some great photos of our family in various places. My kids LOVED Fat Man's Squeeze! They... more

Of all the states and places I have been this is one of my all time favorite spots. Maybe Rock City is one of those places you either love or hate judging from the other reviews...I just know I love it. The scenery is awesome and I have a lot of childhood memories of my Granny and other family members... more

Yes, the view is very nice. But to me this is one of those places you only do once. This I would reccommend to families with young children (4-7) or older folks who can appreciate spending a couple of hours looking at different plant species and at a scenic view. For families with kids like our (9 - teens) it... more

Be prepared to walk, and for great views. They have seasonal shows and entertainment at no additional cost. There's a great fudge shop (they make the fudge right there!) There are informational signs along the well-marked trails. I always take my dog. I would say it is not wheelchair friendly, simply because of the nature of the trails. You can... more

We were really disappointed with Rock City - sounded so good on paper, but didn't live up to expectation. The view of seven states is pretty impressive, but you could never really describe it as picturesque by any means. The last part of the tour is a walk through man-made (or certainly man-decorated) caves where you can see some scary,... more
