What a great place to visit. The Chattanooga Choo Choo has everything to offer it's guests. Great restaurants, great entertainment, and you can even sleep on a train car. Last Christmas I took my daughter and twin grandsons to the Choo Choo and we had a blast. We slept in one of their train cars and we all loved the experience. The hotel lounge and grounds are really cool. For kids this is a really neat place to spend the night. The rooms were average at best, but the pool which looks great at first glance, is a downright health hazard. The chlorine smell was overwhelming meaning there is plenty of dirt in the water, but the dead cockroaches floating around... more

I can't speak to the hotel or restaurant, but I give the attraction of the Choo Choo and surrounding train exhibits a big thumbs up. The train itself is outside and easily accessible with no admission costs. My young children had a blast climbing around on the old coal-fed engine. After riding on the free electric bus, we arrived at the station. It was mostly shut. Just the restaurant was open, it did not look inviting. We did not stay at the "Choo Choo" during our stay, simply visited there and did the train exhibit. My comments are strictly limited to that. My husband and I took our twelve year old son to the Choo-Choo. He had such a wonderful time. Their was never a dull moment for him. Between the several gift shops and all of the sights of Chattanooga, he was very entertained. He didn't want to go home. My husband and I also enjoyed the sights of the Choo-Choo.... more
