Great car park, loads of parking. Maybe not so at the weekend or public holidays. The walk through the enchanted gardens is so peaceful and serene. The view from Lovers Leap is quite moving with the most spectacular vista. Then if you follow the yellow path back there are some sights that you would not expect to find. Just keep... More

Rock City, Ruby Falls, and a beautiful neighborhood at the top of Lookout Mountain as well. Traffic was heavy, but the sights were worth it when we took friends there. The tourist attractions didn't seem to detract from the mountain, but rather, added to the quality of the rock formations. The bluegrass music and restaurant were great to see there... More

We visited Rock City on May 27, 2015. The trails are lined with beautiful plants native to the area many of which are clearly identified as you travel through the garden. The rock formations are unusual and interesting to view. Our daughter really enjoyed the gnomes and Storybook village. We could not see seven states as it was foggy and... More

A great side trip. Up a beautiful mountain with a stop at the waterfalls. A Starbucks near the top when you get there. A Museum and a tour of the park. It overlooks an incredible vista on the river. Be sure to stop to see the painting and watch the film about The battle of Lookout Mountain or "The Battle... More

Being able to walk in, around and through all the huge rocks and crevices was awesome. The natural beauty of the place is impressive in itself. They did a good job integrating man made walkways and such into nature. I'm not sure why they put a fake waterfall in at the top. But it was pretty, too. I didn't care... More

Great views of the river and city below. We went to Point Park and toured the National Park area and the kids asked questions of the Rangers who were nice enough to respond with answers they could understand.

I was pleasantly surprised how amazing this tour was. Gorgeous gardens, a fantastic view (of seven states) was a fun day excursion. As busy as it was for a holiday weekend, the very professional and friendly staff run this facility like a gem! Take the time and bring your friends and family. The view from Lovers Leap is worth it!... More

Amazing how beautiful the views are from way up there, and how easy it was to get to the top too!! Can't wait to bring the kids on our next trip!

Five years ago we visited Chattanooga for a wedding and were captivated by this beautiful mountain and its incredible views! I am delighted to say that our second visit was even better than the first! Our first stop was Rock City which has to be one of the best, most easily accessible nature walks to be found in any city!... More
