This Is something you want to do at least one time just to say you saw it and did it. Its not as much as it is hyped up to be but its a pretty site. Kids get bored pretty quickly with it as there isn't really much to do. I've been. But I won't ever have a need to... More

I loved the Civil War history of this place. The views from the ledges was breathtaking. It was so nice we walked it twice before leaving.

I love Lookout Mountain and have since I was a child. I grew up in this area, so I got to go lots of times. I have returned about every 5 years for the past 30 years, and it always excites me every time.

I grew up on Lookout Mountain back in the 70's and 80's. While a to has changed, I am happy to say a lot has not. The scenic drive is still absolutely beautiful and there are no new homes etc blocking it. The steep drop offs and beautiful vegetation provide an absolutely stunning view during the day and night. There... More

Atop this historical lookout, it was easy to envision the Civil War taking place. what a view! Not for those afraid of heights-and not for young children, but gorgeous and memorable -plus a great photo op.
