This photo is actually from Rock City, I think. It does NOT deserve it's hokey reputation. It is a great place to visit on an easy hike among boulders the size of skyscrapers at the time it was opened. All of Lookout Mountain is very scenic and there are roads along the brow to enjoy views of the valley.

It is well worth your time to get to the top of Lookout Mountain to learn more about this amazing Civil War Battle site.

First time through it was pretty awesome, second time not so much but I think that it is just me. Your tour guide can make or break your experience.

Just visited on our honeymoon and I have to say, I was very impressed. The views and atmosphere were romantic. It definitely earned me some brownie points, going back tonight to see the Christmas lights.

Stopped on our way back home to Florida. We first visited last night and saw the Christmas lights and that was incredible!! We went back first thing this morning before heading home and had the place to ourselves . . . That was even better. Parking was easy, the staff was SUPER, and the views truly are breathtaking. Dress warm... More

A must see if you're in Chattanooga. We went again this year during Thanksgiving. They have the whole path lit up with Christmas lights. Go a bit later in the evening to avoid the crowds. Also, totally worth the extra $20 to go during the day as well. Can't recommend it enough!

We did the incline, but very scary to me because I am afraid of heights. We then drove over to See Rock City and enjoyed seeing all 7 states since it was a clear day.
