Wonderful views of Chattanooga -- must visit! A lot of history especially of the civil war period. Great place to take your children.

The view is amazing, but there isn't much history here. If you are looking for a place to take some amazing pictures come here, but have the backup plan of Ruby Falls or the INcline Railway because.

The cost is more than $30 a person and you have to pay to go on a hike. I refuse to pay that much money to go on a hike. We got there, and then turned around once we realized the cost.

My husband is newly afraid of heights. If you are, dont go on the incline railway! But the view at the top is AWESOME and even if you just drive up there, its worth the trip.

An enjoyable ride up the Incline Railway to the top of Lookout Mountain and a stroll to the Civil War memorial was the perfect way to spend a morning! Amazing to travel in the lookout mountain train, the climb down is exhilarating and very smooth. The trains are managed so well and beautifully coordinated. One can go down the hill and walk around in the base and then take a twin back to the top. The view is beautiful and the ride is thrilling.

This was an interesting experience as I am deathly afraid of heights. The gardens are beautiful but it scared me to have no side rails. I also had a 3 year old in tow and it made me nervous to have her walking around at free will. They also have some sort of fairy tale nights props set up throughout... More

One can take the tram almost to the top with a short walk to the top. We drove. At lot of Civil War history displayed there! It is a short and easy drive from downtown Chattanooga and worth the effort.

We visited this attraction on our fly-drive holiday of the southern states. We parked at the base of the mountain and took the railway to the top. The trains run in both directions every half hour and the ride is great although I think the cost of $15 each is quite expensive. The views from the top of the mountain... More
