This is my second visit to the Battle Ground and Lookout Mountain. What a good history lesson. The views are fantastic and the flowers were blooming all along the Mountain. Just a spectacular place.

Have seen old Civil War photos of Lookout Mtn. for years. Had no idea it was looking over Chattanooga. Park Service facility was good. Parking was confusing. Metered spaces in front of the Park Service took money and did not give any time. Ranger said they had nothing to do with the meters, but they had free parking behind the...

I agree with pretty much everything negative that has been said on here. This is something you will feel like you have to see once at least, if you have been here before, I would skip it. If you are unsure about it, I would skip it. You aren't really missing much but there are some nice photo opportunities but...

Neat and historical vintage attraction. The view from the top was great. The drive was awesome and the observation deck was just perfect.
There are several attractions to see. Rock City, Ruby Falls, Incline Railroal, Covenant college campus. Neat areas to see! Take a few days in the area and enjoy!
Worth the drive for the view even if you don't stop for the incline railway. But do stop at the incline railway. I believe you can use the observation deck even if you don't buy a ticket to ride the incline. Worth the view.
We enjoyed the views from the top of Lookout Mountain and the Incline RR. I would suggest an alternative to the rail trip @$15 per person: drive up to the top and park for a couple of hours, as there is metered street parking. The gift shop in the building has great fudge and you can walk upstairs and catch...

Could easily spend a couple of hours here, strolling and taking in the views. The highlights are the view of the 7 states and the waterfalls. The counter food is not so great, so would recommend packing some snacks or eating before/after.
Great scenery, awesome outlook spots, cant think of anything we didn't like, oh yea, I didn't want to leave! I would love to go back
From the hang-gliding to Ruby Falls it was beautiful. We were there on two incredibly clear days and two incredibly cloudy days. Riding in the "clouds" has it's own appeal. Beautiful homes all along the way.
