We enjoyed the Falls during our Lantern Tour the Friday we arrived but did not enjoy the day tour as much because it was very crowded and we had to step aside for at least 3 tour groups of 20 or more people heading back from the falls.

We bought the Double Play ticket combo that included both Ruby Falls and Rock City. It was a great way to enjoy the sites without paying too much. We were very fortunate that it had rained the evening before our tour, so the falls were flowing quite nicely. During the summer months, the falls can be quite small due to... More

basically you get on an elevator that seems like it is going to the center of the earth only to get out and see an underground waterfall having some colored lights bought at radio shack shone on it. if this sounds like a great time to you then go for it!

From the guy running the elevator to the tour guide below, everyone was awesome. My only gripe is that they dump you out of the elevator after the tour on the 3rd floor and don't give you an option to stop on the main floor. This was an issue with my elderly mother who has trouble with stairs. When we... More

It takes some time to get there but the experience improves as you move along the cave and the reward at the end is absolutely worth it!

You will enjoy the underground cavern and falls. Kids really like it. They have lit the falls to make them more then just an undergrownd waterfall. Good time by all.

This is a must for travelers in the area. I would declare it a tribute to visionary entrepreneurs as much as a unique, one of a kind, natural attraction. In the early part of the 20th century, a local cave explorer was drilling an elevator shaft to access an old Indian cavern that was known to exist deep within Lookout... More

I had been to Ruby Falls as a child, but was too young then to really remember anything about it. So, I've wanted to go back for awhile now. Our family and two other families visited the Chattanooga area for a quick get-away the early part of spring break, so we decided to make Ruby Falls one of our adventure... More

The waterfall was beautiful. I suggest going after it has rained, because there is more water to enjoy. I heard if its dry the waterfall is just a trickle, but when I went there was a lot of water flow. It is a long walk through the cave to get to the waterfall and can be kind of tight at... More

We had to make an unscheduled stop while passing through Chattanooga, and decided to run over to see Ruby Falls with the family (of 5). Fortunately, lines were not too bad, but I understand they can get REALLY long. It was quite pricey, and I was skeptical, but figured we had to at least do it once. The staff were... More
