Wall Drug is always a good rest stop on the way through SD. They really do have five cent coffee and the meals aren't too bad. If you want gifts they have an over supply. It gets very busy during the summer, but in the spring or fall its not bad. We plan on over-nighting there this fall.

It's a touristy stop. The signs are fun to see for miles but it's always a little bit of a let down. Basically a giant souvenir shop. The donuts were great.

It is what it is. Very touristy. Plenty of chances to buy shiny rocks, plastic toys, t shirts, etc. Their food is not bad in the cafe and bakery area, but the crowd of road weary parents and kids takes away from it. Big area in the back with some games and activities to let the kids burn off energy.... More

Tons to see and do but it had a touristy feel. Lots of quirky sights and good photo opportunities with the kids,

This little town is so 'classic western', just a quiet but touristy town not too far from Rapid City. Its old world charm will suck you right in. We had tonnes of fun here looking/buying in the shops and tourist attractions. (large Jackalope to sit on). It was lovely and quiet to stay overnight and just one of the places... More

Stopping at Wall Drug was a nice break from on our drive from MN to Mt. Rushmore. We wandered through all of the different shops and let the kids play in the splash pad area for awhile. We got there later than expected and ended up staying for dinner - I wouldn't recommend eating here, it's just cafeteria style food,... More

Sometimes we have to just go into tourist attractions for the sake of seeing them. This is one of them. An amazing array of things nobody needs but will be cool to get. The donuts are almost ridiculously good.

Accept it for what it is... the ultimate tourist trap. Kudos to the Wall Drug people for figuring out a way to get people to stop in Wall. Our kids loved it. It is simply "junk" shop after junk shop with some cheesy attractions added in. Accept it for what it is and enjoy it.

As the many, many road signs will tell you in South Dakota (and surrounding states), you gotta visit Wall Drug. We wouldn't have gone out of our way, but the town (Wall) was on the way to our destinations (Minuteman Missile tour and Badlands), so we stopped in for lunch. Seems like this place takes up half the tiny town!... More

We had a great time shopping for vacation souvenirs. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the dinosaur attraction, as well as all the stuffed animals, arcade, etc. We were able to find everything we were looking for, and then some. Wife bought fudge, and brought the rest home (I didn't get to that in time....)... More
