Wall Drugs is exactly what it suppose to be! It is the ultimate tourist attraction! If you go it is to enjoy it and for fun. The shops are great and offer a full array of souvenirs for all tastes. The old west look just adds to the whole package. This time of year it is pretty quiet but was... More

This place is kind of a hot mess. There is so much to see and do all crammed into a tiny space. We got there a little later in the day and didn't realize they closed at 5. It was a week day during the off season though. The entire backyard portion was closed, which was a bummer for my... More

This is a nice and kitschy place to stop look and shop. Kids had fun looking at the photos of indians. Sitting Bull with Custer. Nice place to eat. Coffee for 5 cents on the honor system. Free ice water. My Chihuahua doggy enjoyed water too. Lots still closed for the season. One of the elderly cashiers was kind of... More

We were in Rapid City for spring break and we knew many things would be closed because was off season, but Wall Drug stated it was open year round for fun! That was very misleading. There was a handful of the main shops open, all of which were just packed with touristy trinket stuff. None of the fun attractions were... More

My son and I had fun counting the "Wall Drug" signs along I-90 on our drive from Minnesota; I think we got up to 190 signs. And as you can imagine, by the time we finally arrived, our hopes were pretty high. Unfortunately though, those hopes were not fulfilled. Of course it's a tourist attraction, but I was expecting a... Wall Drug is worth a stop, but it's not the greatest thing ever. You can get free water, and there's tons of amusing stuff for kids.

There is nothing here worth seeing. The 100+ signs on the highway are amusing, but that's about the extent of the excitement. Overpriced western themed town.

Covering about three city blocks (if one can call it a "city"), this place is worth a stop off the Interstate. There's nothing quite like it for epic proportions, and the stuffed critters alone is worth the trip. Don't miss the fire breathing T Rex, and shop til you drop. You simply will not believe how much crap you never... More

I was expecting an actual drugstore that had been in business for a long time, based on all the mentions of the place in various brochures. Nope. I think they keep about an aisle's worth of drug store-ish stuff so they can claim the title, but otherwise it's top-to-bottom tourist trap kitsch. I was looking for something with historical significance... More

The drive across South Dakota can get monotonous. Break the monotony for yourself and your family by stopping at the Wall Drug Store. It is not really a drug store. It has evolved into a major attraction. For hundreds of miles, you will see signs along the highway advertising Wall Drug. The signs are right. You can find almost anything... More
