Wall is one of the most iconic of tourist stops in the west. Full to the extreme of tourist 'stuff' and a really fun place for kids. Especially love the book store at Wall Drug. A good ice cream cone with real ice cream. A fantastic buffet breakfast but way overpriced. Sturgis week one can people watch the cycle crowd... More

We had being seeing billboards for this for hundreds of miles and they obviously worked as we decided to come off the interstate (I90) and have our lunch there! The place is a hotchpotch of small shops selling everything you can imagine from clothes to rocks to knives to toys to jewellry to taffy, it has a chapel, a restaurant... More

If you take I-90 out west and don't stop at least once, your'e missing out. It's like a mini mall of tourist gift shopping, with a few oportunities for goofey photos. The shops have a great selection of books, hiking supplies, groceries, cheap knick knacks, and some "high end" jewelry and indian crafts. The ice cream shop is refreshing -... More

It's a mall type of a store with restaurants and souvenirs to buy. What makes this place unique is their story, 5 cent cup of coffee, homemade donuts, ice cream and possibly pie. They have signs for 200 miles that we saw, probably more, but if you are here, you can't leave without stopping in for a look around.

We loved this place. You can not drive I-90 in either direction and miss the 75 or more billboards. Vets "Free Coffee & Donuts" at Wall Drug. "5 cent coffee at Wall Drug." Just a few. Plenty of parking, although we were there in early May before the heavy summer traffic started. Kids love this place. Allow yourself plenty of... More

No joke we simply had to stop after seeing hundreds of billboard ads for Wall Drug along the I-90 heading toward Montana. It became a quest. We heard that they spend $400,000 a year on the billboards and they have a full time guy that services them and repaints them. The store itself is really pretty cool with souvenirs from... More

While we were traveling to see The Badlands we stopped by Wall Drug in Wall South Dakota. What a great experience It was so much fun just looking around at all the decor. Anything thing you want I think they might have it. It will be worth your time to visit them when traveling through South Dakota.

My wife and I stopped as we traveled to Wisconsin. While I had been there many times, I was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base in the early 70's, my wife had never been there. A lot of changes have taken place since the 70's. There is about everything here a tourist would expect and more. We enjoyed walking around... More

We read about this in 2 cross country travel books and then saw about 100 billboards on the highway so we stopped. Waste of time. It is just a tourist trap with lots of junk. Even the old fashioned soda fountain cafe they adverstise was a bust. Ice cream had no flavor and they did not really make the old... More

We stopped in while at Sturgis. My husband drives past it often and thought it looked SOOOO Cool! Not worth the 100 signs we saw on the way there but it was interesting.
