This is by far the best micro brewery in South Dakota. There are a couple of micro brews within Black Hills area but this one is by far the best with Miner Brewing probably a close second.

Crow Peak Brewery is a great place to grab a local beer with friends. I have really enjoyed their beer selection, which has gotten more varied lately. I always appreciate a beer list that isn't dominated by super-bitter IPAs. They certainly have a few of those if that's your thing, but there really is something for everyone. Usually the lite... Good Beer and interesting conversations with the Bartender and locals at the Bar. They also had a nice selection of swag for sale.

One of our travel companions loves Microbreweries, so we added this to the list of things see and do. We did! Got a few flights of beer some popcorn and went to the upper deck to enjoy the afternoon. Still another great stop

We seek out microbreweries everywhere we travel and always do some homework before arriving in a new place. Crow Peak was on our list of must visits in South Dakota but I must say we were a little disappointed. From checking out the website we were expecting a friendly reception and some enthusiastic conversation about the beers on tap. We... More

Stopped during our afternoon visit to Spearfish. Great place, friendly server and tasty brews. Loved the large west facing upper deck. Their hours varied from what is listed on their website, so you might want to call to verify.

We stopped in here to see more about the brewery that puts out the beer we've enjoyed. This was a nice stop to try out some brews, and we enjoyed sitting on the upper deck on a sunny day trying the samplers--four of them for the price of a beer. We especially enjoyed the Thor's Hammer, a beer with a... More

Thia is a very fun, laid-back kinda place to just hang out and have some very good, well-priced fresh beer and free popcorn. If ever in Spearfish again I would definately return. A little hard to find, but they give good directions is you call. If you don't like dogs or smoking, however, you need to stay inside. Not the... More

We're Wisconsinites; home to dozens of fantastic microbreweries. But when traveling out of state we like to try/buy local beer. Crow Peak is the complete package. Visited the brewery when were in in the Hills. Bought a case to take home to remember the trip. Who needs knick knacks from the Hills when you can enjoy a good Crow Peak... More

Wasn't able to order food, it was Oktober fest and only tried the Creme Ale which I really enjoyed. The bar and dining area was very small.
