Beautiful Drive in the northern Black Hills

Just a beautiful drive, recommend doing it in the fall. If you want to drive at high speed (over 55 mph), don't go, it is slow drive, but worth it.

Any motorcyclist can tell you that this is a MUST when in the area. The waterfalls are breath taking and there are places to pull over and take pictures.

We rode this while in the Black Hills for the 2015 Rally, beautiful ride, not to miss if you enjoy scenic byways.

This was not part of our planned trip, but a friend say we really need to take this scenic byway. So glad we listened, it was absolutely gorgeous and nothing we've seen before. You can stop on the side of the road at certain points and take photos.

Nothing to write home about. Maybe winter isn't as good as summer. Scenic byway from Keystone to Custer State Park was sooo much better with its views and corkscrew roads.

We decided to take this scenic route back from our weekend away in Deadwood as someone had told us it was an awesome drive. They were not wrong! The road winds it's way up and down hills through the forest with stops here and there to appreciate the beautiful countryside. We wished we had more time to stop and explore... More

We came before Sturgis so there was more traffic than usual and we expected it. The drive was beautiful, but got congested in a few spots due to traffic. While beautiful, I thought this was on par with the drives in Custer State Park. This drive followed the river and there were small waterfalls, separating it from Custer State Park... More

This is why we have national parks and national forests. It's just breathtaking. It was late October and the cool weather made it that much better. As you drive along, there are places to pull over and see the magnificence that nature has wrought. It was just a planned stop over on the way back from Wyoming. The couple of... More
