I loved the casual walk along the main streets and reading all the dedication plaques. The brochure and contest to chose the best sculpture were also informative and the contest to determine which the town would buy ensured the city would have plenty of culture to enjoy in coming years.

Very good idea got to see a gallery out side on a sunny day whilst enjoying a milkshake. Added great sense of culture to the downtown core and one more reason to go there.

There are some extraordinary works of art on the walk. We walked the walk before dinner and were really impressed with what we saw. My kids each took out their ipods and took pictures. They loved the work. What a great little surprise to see in downtown.

What a wonderful way to motivate folks to get out and go downtown - it brought us in and gave us a great walk after dinner.

My kids and I traveled from Buffalo, NY to here on our way to Mount Rushmore. I loved the sculpture walk. The only complaint would be that there needs to be a better map of where the sculptures are located. We found some with no problem, but better map would be better.

I can't travel near the Sioux Falls downtown area without enjoying the quality of talent we can bring to our town. The continued community support speaks for itself when you see the rich talent drawn to this event all year long!

Take time to look at and read about the great sculptures as you meander along Phillips Ave! I loved it. Two favorites: Rik Beuselink "Under Pressure" corten steel (http://sculpturewalksiouxfalls.com/sculptures/2014/under-pressure/) - it's about thinking globally and preservation of natural resources - he's from Belgium. http://sculpturewalksiouxfalls.com/sculptures/2014/under-pressure/ Ray Kobald, "Rebirth of ACI" artists words: "This is a sculpture of an Indian maiden who...
