I did not know about the sculpture walk when we got there. At the Falls gift shop we found the FREE trolley that goes all around the city. You hop on and off at will. It was just fascinating seeing all the bronze sculpture from artists all over even international work. We walked a lot of the sculpture trail, stopping... More

We are frequent visitors to Sioux Falls South Dakota as we have family there. When visiting, our relatives always take us to experience the delight that is the Sculpture Walk. Such local talent displayed for one to enjoy! And, lest one get bored easily, the sculptures are updated and added to on a routine basis. We are impressed by how... More

This is what can happen to an old mid western downtown with smart planning and corporate investment. Lovely walk, interesting shops and restaurants and a nice place to visit. Would return with my family again.

The Sculpture Walk in Sioux Falls is an excellent way to spend an evening either by yourself or with friends. We make it a point to visit every year. The sculptures are of varying styles. I am not an art critic and only look at what appeals to me. There are always some pieces that will appeal to most any... More

This city loves sculpture and has an outdoor sculpture show in the downtown restaurant and small shops area near the Convention Center, as well as other sites around town. Visitors vote for their favorite and the sculpture with the most votes is purchased by the city. Maps are available of the annual sculptue contenders and the many permanent outdoor sculptures... The downtown area of the city is filled with numerous statues and sculptures--well worth the walk. Plenty of eating places to stop along the way.

The downtown of Sioux Falls is alive with people mingling, shopping, and just plain hanging out due in part to the Sculpture Walk that one can choose to take part in while strolling the area. It is a couple of blocks, so not too strenuous of a jaunt. One can find plenty of places to rest along the walk if... More

Some lovely sculpture in downtown Sioux Falls, is always nice to see a community embracing local art. We were there on a weekday afternoon, so did not enjoy live music. The sculptures were little heavy on bronze for my taste—would like to see more variety—but the walk is worth a half hour of exercise downtown.

The sculpture walk is well situated among downtown dining and shopping venues as well as adjacent to the river walk. Particularly enjoyable on summer weekend nights when there is lots of live music outdoors along the way. A good selection of fine work for a variety of tastes from whimsy (what a juxtaposition of the hefty tourists posing next to... More
