I attended the Flag Day service in June. Honor Flight participants were honored, city band played and a fly over of WWII aircraft were part of the program. The park by itself is a nice place to visit. The walkways are all paved with concrete. Signs along the way tell stories of military heroes. The grounds are well maintained. You... More

The falls are beautiful. Large park to walk and relax. You can walk right up to the water. The tower is fun to view the falls from. Cycling, walking, picnicking. They are lit at night.

I sat out there today for awhile to get some sun. I did some business nearby and afterward I stopped here on the way home. Many people were walking around these beautiful grounds. Some walking dogs. Some with children too. It's just WAY TOO BAD that this fine park was not located in a more convenient location. Not to mention... More

We recently took some first time visitors to visit this Memorial. It does a good job of paying tribute/respect to our veterans.

This is a great place for veterans and military families to visit and see some of our local heroes. It has plaques for veterans from South Dakota throughout history that have served with honor. I also found a neat Geocache here!

Beautiful Park...Many people in the city do not even know this park exists. It is a gorgeous place...in the Spring the Cherry blossoms are awesome. The statue of the angel carry the soldier to heaven is our favorite because it is in honor of one of our Sioux Falls Soldiers who gave his life for our freedom. His family commission... More

My husband is a wounded veteran so this was a must see on our trip. I was very impressed with how well the park was kept up! The grass was mowed, flowers beautiful, flags flying high, and not a spec of litter in sight. I was a tad turned off at first as it seemed to be in a "bad"... More

This is a beautiful park in loving memory of all those whom have fought and died for this great country. This park is well keep, and has very nice walking trails.
