This park is a must see. If you have a lny admiration for our service men and women or have any family member that has served you need to go see this park. The summer time it is beautiful. This park is near a little lake and is beautifully landscaped. There are placques explaining some wartime events and there r some sculptures as well. There are seating spots to be able to just sit and muse and enjoy. The area is a loving tribute to those who have kept us free.

This is an amazing, hidden gem in Sioux Falls. It's a bit hard to find - take a service road off of Russell and follow it around (this is just east of The Denny Sanford Premier Center). The Park itself is gorgeous - very well manicured aside from a bit of construction going on. It will leave you speechless to... More

This Veteran's Park is larger than most I have visited. It is a relaxing garden to walk through and read the markers of some of the veterans from the area. It has a nice open air stage and I have attended 2 concerts there - one the city municipal band and one a traveling Air Guard band.

Being a veteran myself I always visit any Veteran Parks that I am close to in my travels. I would recommend this park and all places that show the respect for all veterans who have served an who have given their all for their country.

I attended the Flag Day service in June. Honor Flight participants were honored, city band played and a fly over of WWII aircraft were part of the program. The park by itself is a nice place to visit. The walkways are all paved with concrete. Signs along the way tell stories of military heroes. The grounds are well maintained. You... More

The falls are beautiful. Large park to walk and relax. You can walk right up to the water. The tower is fun to view the falls from. Cycling, walking, picnicking. They are lit at night.
