Very easy to get to off the highway. Kids ran and played. Facilities were available but limited. No changing table for infants. Bathrooms were yucky. Playground and picnic area beautiful and fun. Kids really enjoyed themselves. Mostly for smaller kids but several sets with a good variety. Very busy with local mommy play groups and kids from daycares etc. Home... More

Playgrounds, hiking and wonderful education displays are all in this stop. I take my grandchildren at least once a year.

Paid for by the fish and game licenses, this place has exhibits that are fun, hands on and worth going back for. Not only do they have classes featuring endangered species but the have a ethers of outdoor programs going on to from fishing to archery to snowshoeing!!!! You need to check this place out- best of all, it's free!!!

We came across The Outdoor Campus. We were expecting to walk around a trail for a little bit to walk off lunch, but were pleasantly surprised by the days activities. It turns out we showed up on a day when they had their Halloween Hike. They had tons of activities for children and best of all, it was FREE! Hard... More

We stumbled across this on the day they were holding their Halloween Hike. What a fun (FREE!!!) time. Loved seeing all the costumes and the activities were a nice diversion!

A great place to visit for an hour or two. There is a nice educational play area inside and great walking trails outside. A must see when visiting Sioux Falls, SD.

This is a great place to spend 1-2 hours with kids. Walking trails, play area, and aquarium are educational and fun. Sertoma Park shares a parking lot and is a great picnic place with playgrounds.

The butterfly house is located on the campus. Check out the website for the many classes offered for children. It is a beautiful setting for pictures. Sertoma Park is here also with a large picnic area. There is a lake, all kinds of wildlife can be found at different time of the day. It is a tranquil setting.

This is a nice stop to stretch & get some exercise. The gardens were nice. We took the long walk around the area, there is a nice wooden bridge over the pond that leads to a relaxing walk by the prairie grass. The visitor's center has a small aquarium & small walk through display of local wildlife.

Our family stopped here for a stretch break on our way to the Black Hills, and had a lot of fun! The girls (both in their 20s) had more fun than the little kids in the play area, playing inside the giant fish, taking a roll at "Snakes and Ladders" (life-size chutes and ladders), exploring the gardens and outdoor play...
