Passing through Sioux Falls - must see if you are a veteran. The local Navy Reserve maintains this outstanding memorial to a famous Battleship - The USS South Dakota. Right next to the Zoo!! More

It is just parts of the ship. Worth a quick look. Don,t go out of your way to see it. It is located in the western part of the city. Located next to the zoo. More

Although not much of the actual ship remains, its still pretty cool to walk around whats left. There is also a very informative museum in the center of the monument. Worth a stop. More

There is no actual ship but just the outline of how big it was. Kind of sad to see it gone. Good place to stop though and it is well done for what it is. Probably my mistake for thinking it would be a real live ship in south dakota... More

We spent an hour here and would have stayed longer, but my 7&8 year old were antsy. Great job by the Navy and Sioux... More

Can't beat the price, free. Kids had fun climbing on the large anchor and chain. You really get the feel for how big the ship was. More
