I am a local. I eat at the café every week. Great for kids (Discovery Center) for interaction, exhibits and the shows. Almost every artist who has entertained comments on the sound in the Great Hall. For a City our size-unsurpassed. Check the shows before you come to Sioux Falls to try to attend, then go to Parkers or Minervas... More

I took the children I tutored to the Kirby Science center and we had a blast! There is so much to do and see and learn there. It is very hands on and a great place to burn a few hours during the day.

The Washington Pavilion was converted from a large school building into a center for the arts with a beautiful - and acoustically superb - concert hall, surrounded by a science center for kids, an art museum and a restaurant. We loved it!

This is a must for families visiting Sioux Falls. Plan on spending much of an entire day playing, learning and exploring the several levels of interactive visits at this amazing site. Unbelievable AAA discount makes it affordable. So much fun!

The Pavilion is a great spot to spend an afternoon or even entire day! Between the science center, the art center, the concert halls, cafe and cinedome theatre there are many things an entire family can enjoy. Whether going as an individual, couple, family or group, the Pavilion is a must do when in Sioux Falls!

That was one totally awesome big theater!! Worth waiting to b toured thru there by a lady who went to this former high school which was converted to the art and science building. Took the art tour which need at least 2 hours to go through. The volunteers r a wealth of information and so enthusiastic!

We have visited this place many times over the years, even before we moved to South Dakota. We first visited here about ten years ago when we were on the way to take our Granddaughter to Mount Rushmore. I highly recommend this as a point of interest.
