I have attended several Broadway musicals and plays in the main hall. There is not a bad seat in the place for sight or acoustics. I have taken nieces and nephews to the Kirby Science Center and they can spend the entire day there. The Cinedome has movies that are part of the admin fee as well as playing second... More

Awesome place to visit fun for the whole family. Kids will love the Kirby museum. Best yet on the first Friday of each month it,s free. History is all in the walls as the building served as Sioux Falls high school many years before it became the Pavilion home to many of the fine shows that occur throughout each month... More

We went to see Tomorrowland in the Wells Fargo Cinadome. It was really cool watching a movie that is played on the ceiling of this dome. It was almost like you were living the movie

I took my 2 kids here this summer after one of my son's classes. I have to preface this with saying the staff are excellent at The Pavillion. However, the exihbits left much to be desired. It was your typical dino, space suit stuff that kids love and various basic science manipulative. The problem was many of them were broken,... More

This venue has some great live shows in its larger and smaller halls. It also has a "cinedome" theater, which used to run shows on massive reals. It was a fun experience -- as flying, diving, racing, or whatever the show would display. I understand they swapped that system for a "fish eye" digital lens, which was a huge disappointment... Hi SeasPlaces, Thanks so much for taking time to tell us about your experience at the Kirby Science Discovery Center. Our Wells Fargo CineDome is a unique movie-going experience with its domed 60-ft screen and digital 4K projector. Seating location can change a viewer's experience. Some of our patrons prefer to sit up higher and at the rear of the... More

Lots of hands-on experiences for kids and adults! While some exhibits are permanent there is always something new to discover. We enjoyed visiting both with and without kids. If you can, go on the first Friday on the month, as it's free in the evening!

I have attended concerts and art shows and have gone to the children's science center and the cine-dome. Every time I am in awe! No seat is a bad seat at the concerts and the sound is wonderful. The cine-dome is so cool for watching a movie, with the half dome screen, you are literally put in the movie. The... More
