This museum is three floors which are most accessible by stairs though there is an elevator. The exhibits were a bit sparse. Though, they do have some interesting things. Not comparable to big museums such as the Minnesota Science Museum it is much smaller. Art gallery had some interesting exhibits but not overwhelming. Over all it's a good quick stop.... More

The Washington Pavilion provides a central location for entertainment, education, artistic expression for this community - and region. From the Science Center to the Arts Center and as a location for the symphony orchestra, Broadway shows, et.al. to perform, it is a true 'community jewel'

This is a historic building that offers cultural, educational and entertainment programs to the community as well as visitors. As we entered the building and progressed inside, there was a nice display of African American History within the walls of this beautiful establishment. It's always important to be as inclusive as possible when offering the history of a place. Makes... More

Love the Washington Pavilion! It's a little adventure on it's own..from seeing a movie at the Cinedome to attending the Arts for a Concert or Play or even seeing all the Art Displayed. Full of fun activities in the Kirby Science Center! Just a great place to go!

I have attended several Broadway musicals and plays in the main hall. There is not a bad seat in the place for sight or acoustics. I have taken nieces and nephews to the Kirby Science Center and they can spend the entire day there. The Cinedome has movies that are part of the admin fee as well as playing second... More

Awesome place to visit fun for the whole family. Kids will love the Kirby museum. Best yet on the first Friday of each month it,s free. History is all in the walls as the building served as Sioux Falls high school many years before it became the Pavilion home to many of the fine shows that occur throughout each month... More

We went to see Tomorrowland in the Wells Fargo Cinadome. It was really cool watching a movie that is played on the ceiling of this dome. It was almost like you were living the movie

I took my 2 kids here this summer after one of my son's classes. I have to preface this with saying the staff are excellent at The Pavillion. However, the exihbits left much to be desired. It was your typical dino, space suit stuff that kids love and various basic science manipulative. The problem was many of them were broken,... More
