We originally went here to see the Tornado Alley video on the big screen (my daughter is obsessed with tornadoes) and decided to buy the tickets to the science museum, and we were pleasantly surprised, and ended up spending a lot longer there than we meant to. I took away one star because there were many exhibits that were down... More

We came here to see Arlo Guthrie on his Alice's restaurant tour. The venue was perfect. There wasn't a bad seat in the house, the acoustics were good and there were plentiful bathrooms - rare at a concert!

I was nervous about my college and high school aged children liking this but they did! We enjoyed the exhibits and commented several times about how much fun science can be. This would be a fantastic place to take younger children.

Had a great time, fundraiser was a success, got to take home a cute hand made bowl, and we had live orchestra music to dine by as well as the art galleries were open to the public that night for free. what an unexpected fabulous surprise.

I am a local. I eat at the café every week. Great for kids (Discovery Center) for interaction, exhibits and the shows. Almost every artist who has entertained comments on the sound in the Great Hall. For a City our size-unsurpassed. Check the shows before you come to Sioux Falls to try to attend, then go to Parkers or Minervas... More

I took the children I tutored to the Kirby Science center and we had a blast! There is so much to do and see and learn there. It is very hands on and a great place to burn a few hours during the day.

The Washington Pavilion was converted from a large school building into a center for the arts with a beautiful - and acoustically superb - concert hall, surrounded by a science center for kids, an art museum and a restaurant. We loved it!
