The Pavilion has special art showings that are fun to go to. The Cinedome is fun to watch special showings just like an IMAX theater. The science center is fun even for adults.

This is a large science discovery center. We went with my 8 year old son and he enjoyed a lot of the exhibits. There were bones and dinosaurs, things with lights and shadows, fitness, gravity, and sound. There were a few interactive things that were broken with no sign, making me think maybe they'd been broken for a while unfortunately.... More

This last time I was there I was thinking nothing has changed in a long time. Many things should have. Several of the interactive exhibits were not working at all. I remember this place being very neat the first time I saw it several years ago, but nothing has changes since then. At least they should do a better job... More

We had a great time here I was very impressed at the price it was very reasonable and well worth the small amount that included the omni theatre as well as the museum. The woman at the ticket box was so great and helpful and went above and beyond to help us and was passionate about the museum. We have... More

I am so amazed with the experience I had here. So much to see. From artwork to science experiments to the fantastic experience the Wells Fargo cinedome provided. What a well rounded collection of oddities, history, present and future. Truely well thought out and executed museum / gallery / cinema / history / entertainment and science center. If you have... Saw the South Dakota Symphony's Christmas performance here recently, and it was great. Very good acoustics and very comfortable seating. Last year went to the Andy Warhol exhibit. Great venue.

WP is an amazing place. It's hard to believe it used to be a high school. It's easy to find and easy to get to. There is plenty of parking nearby. If you are going to a small event, there is plenty of parking on the streets. If there is going to be a large crowd, there is a parking... More

Especially interesting to those who attended Washington HS up until 1992. There is an "Alumni Hall" upstairs with a restored classroom, and even the "fight song" can be heard.

The Washington Pavilion offers a wide array of great classes and programs for kids, if you are willing to pay for them. The building itself is very cool, with interactive exhibits in the Science Discovery center and some different museum exhibits. There is often not an apparent person to ask questions, but usually when you can find someone they are... More
