The namesake of Sioux Falls changes with every season and offers different scenes, sites and colors. Even if you've visited in the summer, try a visit to the Falls year round. Like Monet's paintings of Parliment in different seasons, the Falls change and reflect a different beauty in a match of the season.

I live about an hour and a half away from Sioux Falls and most of my extended family lives there, so I visit the falls quite often. It is always very beautiful. Recently the city has added nice paths so it is stroller and wheelchair accessible, and is much more easily navigable. Although it was much more fun when you... More

Saw the fall colors. Very calming and relaxing. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Great place to take pictures and have a picnic lunch. They also do a winter wonderland that is a great way to kick off the holiday season. It's all free so take it all in.

Your able to run around on the rocks and do what you want, enjoy yourself and not be "policed" around.

Very beautiful!! We visited in Feb. when there was sitll snow on ground and falls were partially froze over and it was still very pretty. I would love to come back and see when falls are free flowing!!

Falls Park is an excellent location for any occasion. Great place to have a picnic in the spring, take the whole family out for a fun day in the summer, go for a walk in the fall, and see the AMAZING display of THOUSANDS of Christmas lights in the winter (Christmas time)!! Falls Park is a nice relaxing spot in... More

The falls were low when we visited ~ but it was still one of the most beautiful places we saw in all of South Dakota. This is DEFINITELY a place that no one should miss.

The Falls are one of the best attractions of South Dakota. When you are at the Falls, you feel like you are in Western South Dakota( Black Hills). It is fun to see the nature, and beauty of the Falls, and also there is the best ice cream in the world here. You have to see the Falls for the... More

In the summer and spring the falls run wild, especially after a rain. You can walk (or jump) over the stones and get practically to the middle. In the winter the view is quite amazing because of the frozen water on the stones as the water still splashes around.

Falls Park is a great place to spend the afternoon. There is a gift shop/observation deck to see the whole park. I loved how you could walk down into the falls. There are a lot of historic aspects that were fun to look at, like the old mill. The free city bus tours make stops at the park too, check... More
