The falls are very scenic and it is how sioux falls received its name. It has overlook but there is opportunity to get a bit closer. If you are disabled, orthopaedic problems or mobility issues then Falls park is not completely accessible.

It's pretty and that's about it. It is an neat geological site considering how the falls were shaped. It's a nice place to take a picnic too. All in all it's worth the visit.

Wish it was warmer out as we could have played all day there! All the granite expose rocks that kids and adults alike can climb on and sit on. The falls were very pretty and very cool to read the history behind it. It was cold and very windy, but we had a blast there. restrooms were under construction and... More

They are truly beautiful and walking along them is easy to do, and parking is right there. Even if you are just passing through, make a point to stop. It's fun to walk on the rocks into the water. Also be sure to go to the top where the water falls rapidly. Some parts have steeper drop offs and it... More

If you are going to visit Sioux Falls, you need to see this site. This is site is the name sake for the City. For years the site deteriorated. Several years ago the City invested millions to upgrade the attraction -lights for night viewing, walking and bike paths. The view at night during the summer and Xmas (special lighting) is... More

Outdoor beauty of Sioux Falls! Many areas allowing safe maneuver to the water. Resting benches, gift shop and view from the top of the tower are great. I like that there is always something going on at 'The Falls'! Christmas lights are wonderful. However, if the wind is blowing from the packing plant, the STENCH is UNBEARABLE! Wish there was...
