It was so pretty during the day we went back in the night. There is a lot of walking so for someone who is handicapp it is hard even in a wheel chair.

The falls are beautiful. Do not visit Sioux Falls without taking the time to walk around and view the falls. The colors are amazing.

Since the last time I was here was over 20 years ago, I was delighted by the improvements around the falls. There is now a visitors' center (with restrooms), a four story viewing tower, and walks that link to a long bike trail that winds upstream along the river and connects to downtown streets. We took a three mile walk,... More

It was a dry, drought time when we went.. August 2013. There was very little water running through it and what was there was stagnant and dirty...bird poop and feathers. I wasn't blown away like I have been at other attractions- I suppose because the power of the water wasn't there. It is interesting, though, and historic. I recommend if... More

We were traveling from the Black Hills to home in Indiana and decided to stop and check out Falls Park. We were pleasantly surprised at the area. We walked around the falls and went up in the tower. Got some great pictures. The grounds were immaculate. Great place to take a break in your travels. Let the kids burn off... More

Easy to park, the observation tower is worth the trip up and it is all free! Nice for a walk, jog, or just to sit and watch the falls as there are plenty of benches around.

Tons of history here! take time to read the information boards. Plan to spend the whole day as there is so much to see! Pick up a rock at the gift shop in the viewing tower too.

The Falls is a wonderful place to go.. the falls themselves are so pretty (fantastic after a rainfall)...not Niagara awesome, but pretty. There are well maintained walks throughout the park, so you can get plenty of exercise, or a great place to sit, maybe take a lunch to eat, relax, watch the water flow or people watch. It is especially... More

Located several miles off I29, A bit hard to navigate to and find. Falls Park is well worth a stop. A nice walk along the falls, the place is well kept and tourist friendly. We were there after a recent rainfall and the falls were amazing. Would have liked to spend more time, but we had to get going.
