I used Sioux Falls as a stopping point between my two locations: Keystone SD & Fond Du Lac, WI. The Falls is a nice relaxing place to visit. They run daily free trolley rides into the centre of downtown Sioux Falls. The summer evening light show is a must see, the laser light show starts at 9.30 pm each night... more

This was a truly lovely area. We ate at the cafe that is at the site and it was very good. It was a cold windy day, so we did not walk around the falls like you could, but on a nice warmer day it would have been fun. Would recommend stopping and seeing this area if you are traveling... more

What a beautiful park, and close to the renovated downtown area. Sioux Falls knows how to make the best of a river location. You could spend hours at the park enjoying the view, the sounds of the river and the people. We didn't take pictures but plan a return trip in the future. more

Despite the fact that my husband had to point out to me that Sioux Falls is called Sioux Falls because of the fallllllllllsss...I loved Falls Park. The kids had a great time. We saw this park in a South dakota ad in MIdwest Living Magazine and decided to make it our Anniversary Trip this year. This is a very nice park. Clean with nice paved walkways. Very, very impressive. Falls Park has some great waterfalls with booming sounds of water located in an tranquil park setting. The Park is very good size with bike and walking paths, lots of green space for picnics, a cafe, observation tour and arts center. All mixed in among the river, water falls and lots of exposed pink quartzite. Very pretty... more
