We enjoyed our visit to the falls. It was a nice area with plenty of areas to walk. Nice visitors center, observation tower and an area to get drinks and ice cream or a bite to eat. Interesting to learn about the quartz.

Even in the rain it was an interesting site to visit. The old buildings that have been renovated or preserved make it even more interesting. We spoke with the people in the Visitors' Center and learned some interesting things about the river and the falls. We climbed the four stories to the top of the observation tower because the elevator... More

We parked the truck about 2 miles from Falls Park and took the bikes on the city bike trail the rest of the way. The trail is cement and black top the entire route, in fact it encircles the entire city of Sioux Falls for a total of about 28 miles of trail. The roads are wide, flat and filled... More

Enjoy climbing on the rocks around the falls after having a picnic in the park. This is right along the bike path and easily accessible by either car or bike. If you're feeling a little adventurous go to the top of the observation tower for an excellent view of the falls. One downfall is that sometimes the smell of the... More

It's the Sioux Falls. Not far from the town with easy access. We chose to take the trolley which runs about every 30 mins. There is a nice cafe next to the falls too. Fun for the family.

its really pretty and worth stopping at however theres no safety features to prevent children from falling into the water jumping around on the rocks. and as the world works not everyone watches their kids.

My kids do not have very good patient and attention span, but they LOVED it. We spent some time in the tower, but ended up walking and taking pictures for hours. We stayed for the night lighting and it gave this natural gem a totally different perspective. My kids still talk about it. If in the area, this is a... More
