There is easy access to the downtown area from almost any corner of the city! Lots of free parking! Lots of sights- had a very industrial feel!

The statues are fun, but the down town has really taken a hit. A lot of empty store fronts and cheaper goods in some that are open.

The Presidential statues were well worth the walk, very well done. That is the only thing we did in downtown.

We spent about 2 hours walking through and seeing each of the Presidential Statues. My teenagers enjoyed seeing all of them too. It's a nice stop between Crazy Horse and Devils Tower.

There are nice shops and stores and places to eat and drink. Clean area that was easy to navigate and parking was not an issue.

Rapid City is a location often forgotten, like a hidden gem in the north prairie of the US. Nice walking around the city and enjoyed seeing the presidential monuments and a portion of the Berlin wall.

We had a really good time walking around downtown, but we really liked how they gave everybody a place to get together and skate on some ice to some good dancing music. I'm not a very good ice skater, but I really had a good time!!

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the skating rink at Main Street Square! We look forward to the 2015-2016 ice skating season. Be sure to visit again for the summer activities on the Square as well. Lots of exciting things are coming in the upcoming months! Downtown Rapid City is a great destination year-round! More
