Downtown Rapid City is a fun town. I especially like all the Bronze Statues on each corner. People take their picture with these Statues of Presidents and Famous people. Nice Touch to the city and the Memories and Education they bring.

We spent one evening in Rapid City and I wished we had time to stay longer. Every Thursday evening during summer, they shut down several streets, host a few bands and have vendors in addition to the numerous restaurants and shops that are open. The town is clean, walk-able, and offers a wide variety of shopping and food. Add in... More

We made the walk through downtown to visit the 42 bronze statues of the U.S. Presidents - all life-size and portrayed as they are best remembered. The artistry and talent of the sculptors is impressive to say the least. The was 5 blocks in each direction, but it was a pleasant walk after an early dinner. And though it's not... More

We took a tour on the trolley. It's only $1 for seniors, $2 for everyone else. There are several stops along the way. The driver narrates and gives a lot of historical information about Rapid City. The most interesting is the President's Walk, which is live-size statues of all the past US Presidents. They are located on the street corners... More

Cannot say enough good things about Rapid City. From the visitor friendly downtown to the ample well organized parks to the sweet Trolley it's just a great place to see. Take the time to explore. It's most definitely a place you won't regret visiting.

Rapid City is one of my favorites. It's a very active and family friendly place located near some of this country's best scenery.

Really cool downtown area - the splashpark looked fun with a few places to get snacks around it - nice restaurants, the presidential statues were fun to look at, the graffiti - nice downtown area!

It was great to see all of the Presidents. I love history and this was a great place to stop and learn about all of them not just the ones on the mountain. The scavenger hunt was fun!

We enjoyed the statues of all the presidents at the street intersections. Added a nice artistic element to a Northern Plains town.
