Actually July 2013. Everything went off without a hitch, our driver Matt really made the trip, and actively takes part when you get off the bus to look at the sites. Bus journeys can be boring but Matt's commentary makes all the difference. There was plenty of time to tour Mt Rushmore, and The Crazy Horse Monument with stops along... More

I went on the winter black hills tour (as that was the only option available). Our tour guy Steve, was remarkable! Very knowledgable and funny. My only issue with the tour package is I didn't feel the tour was worth the amount I paid which was $150 excl. Tax. The tour has two sights; Mount Rushmore and Crazy horse and... More

So Mt. Rushmore has been on my to do list for a few years. We finally made it. We went in February and the weather was very warm for the season. The high was 56degrees that day. It was an excellent day and because off season the park was practically empty. Parking was $10 and a parking tag they give... More

The driver was great, the bus was comfortable, the breakfast was good and the scenery was spectacular. Two members of our party were no completely ambulatory, with wheelchairs provided at the MT and easy access to other locations, there were no problems.

We'd been driving for days and looked on TA for ideas of what all we needed to see in the Rapid City area. Decided that the tour would show us around without us having to figure it all out. We got picked up from the hotel, then had a cowboy breakfast of pancakes, sausage, along with biscuits and gravy! Coffee,... More

When we planned our trip to the Black Hills we looked into taking a bus tour of the area. At first the thought of 9 hours on a bus was depressing but we took the tour. Good move on our part. Before we got on the bus they served us a cowboy breakfast. If you left there hungry it is... More

Wow! This tour is a must for anyone who is vacationing in this area. Matt, our delightful, witty, knowledgeable, and humorous driver and guide made this tour a true delight. We were picked up at our hotel in the morning and taken to Fort Hays where we had a chuck wagon breakfast of pancakes and sausage. Then we departed on... More

We found this on T/A and are glad we did. Ther are many who say why do a bus tour, do it yourself. The trip IMO would be a real white knuckle drive as it's very hilly, lots of curves many on the edge of the cliffs and I'm quite sure my focus would have been on the driving, not... More

This was a great tour. Matt, our driver & tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. We had lots of time at Mt Rushmore & Crazy Horse to take pictures, explore and see a video. Fort Hay was fun as well. Enjoyed the Chuck wagon dinner & show. Excellent value.

We cannot say enough GOOD, about our tour yesterday with Mount Rushmore Tours. We went on the 9-hour tour -- picked up at out hotel in Rapid City about 8:00 am and taken out to Fort Hays, the film set for Dances With Wolves. We got to check out the little "town", make a tin pan, watch a rope maker... More
