This was a great find! We stopped because our boys (10 and 13) saw the goats up on the "goat bridge" when we drove by and thought it was hilarious. I was worried that for the money (not bad though) they would be bored. Not so!! Our whole family loves animals and we could tell right away that the employees... More

Hubby and I took our 3 grand daughters (7,9 & 11) to McDonald's Farm last year and again this year. Their favorite is the baby petting zoo with the baby goats and some momma goats. The babies will climb all over you and eat your hair, which is sheer delight to the kiddos. They had baby chicks, rabbits, a small... More

My family of 6, all kids under 10, visited. We really had NO plans to ever go there. However, my 5 year old daughter wanted a pony ride, her only request during our vacation. So we looked at every ranch that does horse rides, but only a couple offer pony rides (High Country Ranch--only 1 pony and only at 4:00pm)... More

We have been here before when our kids were younger. Nice short walk through but kids were bored fast. Not worth the $48 to get in for us.

Family and I have been coming here for a few years. It's outstanding! It's a great place for "city" people to come and see farm animals and interact with them. Our kids love that they can feed the animals, bottle & hand fed. For the most you can go into the animal pens and pet them and feed them. Prices... More

My family got to hold baby goats!!!!!!!!! We had fun with the pig races. Bacon won!!! The sheep tried to jump on me when I went in to feed them. I would advise you don't go into any pen with food. The goats got aggressive too. If outside the fence they are super nice:) We spent a lot on animal... More

Stay away!! Do not support!! Horses and cows feet are so overgrown animals are limping and feet are curling up!! As a horse owner feet care is imperative!! Please, please, please, take care of your animals!! For the price animal care should be top priority!!

Pay once and you get in for 3 days which is a good deal. Our daughter loved this place at age 2 and age 7. You can feed the goats and sheep. See pig races, hold chicks and chase chickens! They have pony rides and a tractor ride. People are really nice. The price like everything isn't super cheap but... More

I came from NYC to the Rapid City area to visit Mount Rushmore... who knew that visiting Old McDonald's Farm would become the highlight of my trip!?!? This farm is relatively small, but fantastic. Animals include pigs, goats, cows, horses, etc. There is also a small play area for children, and a schedule of animal feedings and pig races. All... More
