We brought family here from out of the country and it was a wonderful experience. We love history and it was very cool to learn about how they made Mt. Rushmore. Lots of awesome picture opportunities, if you plan on taking the trail be prepared because there are lots of stairs. We also ate at the cafe and the Buffalo... More

This was a great family experience. Visited with my wife and sister-in-law. Learned several new things about the Rapid City area on the tour that I was not aware of. Recommend this tour.

I have been to Mt. Rushmore no less than 30 times, starting back in the 70s. It is well worth the visit. It is so amazing to see the presidents carved into the side of a mountain. There is also a restaurant and gift shop on the grounds as well. Be sure to walk the presidents trail. It is a... More

We took our child to Mt. Rushmore during summer 2014 and it was truly worth it to see this amazing masterpiece. It was the perfect second grade education. Just be prepared with comfortable shoes for the climb up and down along the paths. One thing to note is that while the attraction is free, parking is not. So even if... More

My family have been to the Mt Rushmore/Rapid City area three times and have yet to be bored. Mt Rushmore National Park is a sight to behold, though the actual presidents monument is somewhat smaller in person than one would think, but still quite an impressive sight. Our visit to Crazy Horse was an unexpected surprise just to see what... More

Not like the things you see on shopping channels. Just a big jewelry store. Make sure you call ahead to see if they are open. Went on weekend afternoon at 2pm and despite website saying they were open for tours....they weren't...

History kind of breaks my fascination with this tour. Not sure I would return. Did have outstanding artists.

just by looking at the gigantic sculptures, one can not believe that with blasting the boulders up the hills could create such perfect images of four famous individuals who contributed a lot to US history!

All Americans should visit this fantastic place. Study the true history and you will be proud. This was one of our best trips ever. Make sure you drive to all the attractions in the big area. Custer state park etc.
