Although we had a vehicle, we decided to take this bus tour for the day. It was worth every penny. Our driver Bruce was pleasant, he spoke clearly, he provided clear narrations of the areas we were passing through and the history of the areas. The tour visited all the important sites (Shrine of Democracy at Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse... More

We decided to take a bus tour with Gray Line because their tour offered 98 percent of sites we wanted to visit. We were picked up exactly on time at our hotel.by our tour guide ,Trisha. She was entertaining, knowledgable and added little facts, not usually printed in guidebooks. We had previously planned on driving ourselves, but decided to take... More

We contracted with Grayline to shuttle a group of 56 people through the Needles Highway, the Iron Mountain Rd...places our full size tour bus could not go. Unfortunately, they decided to "sub-contract" the job to someone else without asking or telling us. We were put on an old, less than comfortable bus and taken where we wanted to go...but without... Hello AlumniSteve, It is good to hear from you on your experience with our subcontracted local charter company and van with driver and informative commentary. I am happy to hear that the driver did a fine job of driving you along the narrow roads of Needles Highway and Iron Mountain Road. It was certainly a plan to use a Gray... More

We took the first tour of the season with Gray Line. We arrived at Mt. Rushmore to find that it was completely fogged in. Our driver, Jerry extended our tour at the end of our scheduled 8 hours and returned us to Mt. Rushmore at the end of the day for a clear view and photo ops. The Crazy Horse... More

Thank you for submitting your tour experience with Gray Line of the Black Hills and Jerry. Sometimes Mother Nature does not want to work with us, but we try a second time for Mt. Rushmore in particular in the afternoon for another glimpse. A lot of the times that is all it takes and many will see Mt. Rushmore clearly... More

We signed up for the Gray Line Tours and were very pleased. We had a great driver, John. He was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. We had a great day with him as our driver and learned a lot. I'd highly recommend this tour....Hopefully you get John as your driver.
