Typical bus tour. Driver was very knowledgeable. Picked us up in Keystone, SD. Went to Mt. Rushmore and were given breakfast at the site. It was awful and not worth the time. That part of the tour could easily have been done without a tour. Then we wrote to a hill City, where some rode a very touristy train and... More

We do appreciate that you took our tour to get the "lay of the land" perspective. There is so much to see in the Black Hills and taking the time to sit back and enjoy the ride helps you make plans for other sightseeing on your own as well. Thank you for riding with Gray Line! More

Trisha was our Guide. Very entertaining and knowledgable. A very good driver as well. We were picked up on time at the motel and all stops were right on time. Our trip was Mt. Rushmore - Custer - Iron Mountain Road. I'm happy that she was driving, those pigtail turns would not be fun, let alone driving a bus! Great... More

Thank you for your fantastic review, we do appreciate hearing from you! It makes for a wonderful day to sightsee and not worry about getting around yourself. Iron Mountain Road in Custer State Park is challenging, but we feel it is a beautiful drive. Again, thank you! More

We took this tour with my 87 years young grandmother. Bruce our driver was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the area. Helped with my grandmother and her wheelchair. Much better than driving. I wouldn't take my car some of the places he got that bus....... With ease.

Had terrific 1 day tour with Trisha as our guide and driver. Pick up was early 7.20am but was glad this happened as we beat the crowds to Mt Rushmore. We were out of the park by 10.30am with plenty of time with breakfast included as part of the deal. We caught a one way trip on an 1880 steam... More

What a day! We saw Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Keystone, Hill City, Custer Park - SO much packed into one tour! Tricia was our driver and guide. She knows her stuff both about the sites and behind the wheel ☺️ I highly recommend this to someone who wants to see the sights but doesn't want to do the driving... Only... More

We appreciate hearing from you! The tour does cover some wonderful places here in Western South Dakota and one of the most scenic is Iron Mountain Road in Custer State Park. Always a crowd favorite. It is a challenging road, but well worth it. Thank you! More

We booked a one day tour with Gray Line, our guide was Trisha and she was excellent. She took us around the Black Hills, Mt Rushmore, the Crazy Horse monument, showed us the little towns around The Black Hiills and finally drove us down the Iron Road? With narrow tunnels and 3 pig screw? Bridges, this road was extremely narrow... More

We had a great time all day today, the driver was informational, funny and safety conscious. At the end of the tour it was my family and a retired military vet, RN, and the driver. The other couple and me were having a private conversation about being a bad time to be a police officer and not wanting our kids... More

Thank you for posting to Trip Advisor. We do appreciate your comments and will learn from them. There are subject matters that our driver/guide should not participate in when not invited into the conversation and politics is one of them. It is a good thing to have strong beliefs, but in this situation a driver/guide should hold their opinion to... More

We took the tour that included Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, 1880 Train, and Iron Mountain Road through Custer National Park. Trisha was great. We had plenty of time for all the attractions. It was well worth the money.

I like going on tours because someone else is doing the driving. This trip it was never more appreciated. Trisha was awesome...she had great commentary through out the trip. The Iron Mountain Road switchbacks were more difficult because of road construction and she handled it beautifully. Highly recommend this tour as you see the main attractions in the area.

Thank you for submitting a review of Gray Line's Mt. Rushmore & More Tour! Have to admit the construction in Custer State Park/Iron Mountain Road has had some challenges and our driver's have had their concerns on given days on delays and such. But the outcome will be worth it to drive on. Great to hear that Trisha did a... More

Great, lots to see, hop on hop off kind of day trip. Trisha was the best, from the pick up early in the morning to the drop off around 6pm. I normally don't like tour guides but it felt effortless from her part, more like a chat with a local dweller who's sharing a ride with you. Thumbs up!
